Yeah, they get replaced by the class halls I think.. Didnt play to 110 on beta realm yet and I'm not planning to, I really want the "experience" to be fresh.. Only played the demon hunter tutorial, nothing special imo, the death knight was way better.
I would bet on prices going down on tokens after launch, maybe after the pre-patch, for the following reasons:
1. People spend a ton of gold on various items at the start of the xpac such as:
tradeskill mats to level up the skill/make items
tradeskill BoE gear, if they dont want to do tradeskills
random world/raid BoEs
old world items to fill in their wardrobe
more stuff I cant think of
2. An account can only buy 10 tokens a month (I doubt many people will be buying 10 right off).
3. Gold is still relatively concentrated into the hands of hardcore players, which are a small minority. Gold is easy to get in WoD (until 7.0 hits) but active realm pops were at the lowest levels since WotLK, when they stopped reporting them, 6 months ago.
4. Out of the big influx of people that end up coming back, many, if not most, are casual. Casual players, tend to have less gold, more green, and fall into the first category with they gold they make.
Conclusion: The demand for gold will outweigh the demand for tokens.
The July 19 is, purportedly, the 7.0 pre-patch, but I think that info is from an unofficial "leak" on reddit. They stated (months ago) that they want the demon invasion on live for a long time and they already have 7.0 on the PTR.
Well, this is going to be my very last expansion. I can't stand these fucknuts at Blizzard for a second longer than i have to. The removal of outward zooming and THAT fucking reasoning for it Played tank entire last expansion and would not know how i'd do without being able to zoom out to get an overview.
Well, i hope they go bankrupt and have to grovel on the streets for bread cash. Fucking scum.
from what they say they will fuck palas, no more ranged spells
I dont see anything in that post about classes in particular. I am guessing you mean Pallys, to which they have slimmed down, like all classes, but specs still function, more or less, the same. When they previewed the class changes in November, they were going to make Holy a mellee heal spec, but luckly, they decided against it, mostly.
If you want to get an idea of the shitshow your favored class is currently in, take a look at the MMO-Champ forums.
If you want news and up to date info, stick with MMO-Champ or Wowhead, the other websites seem to be a day late and a dollar short.
I'm in the beta, and it sucks quite a bit of cock. WOW really is finished. WOD was awful, and this one is no better. I don't see the game surviving in any meaningful way through another shit expansion.
Dont think WoW will die anytime soon, even if 50% of players would vanish, its still like shitloads of more players than any other MMO has. Other MMO games have been so fucking bad since i first time played WoW on release, i always keep coming back, no matter how "shit" it is, its still miles better than any of the other korean turds out there.

I assume it's long past the 50% mark by now, sure Legion will bring on new people but long term is see this going F2P in the next 1 or 2 years.
From what I've heard, WoW is either around the 5M active player mark or a bit lower than that. Most likely somewhere between 4.5M and 5M.
FF14 has apparently less than 1M active accounts (guesses have it at around 600 to 800k) yet they still successfully keep the game alive and updated with a subscriptions + expansion models.
Unlikely WoW would go F2P until it reaches lower than 2M active players. I think the only benefit of doing this any earlier would be to avoid closing down multiple servers, if they're afraid of the IP being tarnished by the worlds becoming ghost towns.

It's way past 5 - 4.5m most servers where ghost towns months ago.
The number of active subscribers was at 5.5M at the end of 2015. Losing 1M would be quite a big loss - more players than the second-most popular subscription MMO has - but it remains possible. With that said, it's unlikely that they're "way past" 4.5 to 5M. Under 4M would be very surprising.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
