Aye, he was driving really great.
Kvyat botched it up yet again so I'm sure we'll see Max in a Red Bull next year.
At the first lap I was even wondering if Kvyat would get a race ban and we'd see Max in a bull sooner xD
Expected it to happen. Was saying before the race that Kvyat would probably torpedo someone in the first corner. Too much pressure on him combined with his excitement for racing in the motherland.

Yup indeed, I also think we'll see him again next year. I was reading that Horner is particularly pissed about the noobish incident and all the implications that followed.
Vettel's reaction was hilarious (and completely understandable): https://streamable.com/azte xD
I wonder what he said after they told him that it was Kvyat again, both the times!

To be fair though, they created the situation of Kvyat. Helmut Marko is a bit of an arse (and that's me being friendly ) and was putting massive amounts of pressure on a driver that was already pressured by the situation he was in.
His problem being: He's up against Ricciardo and there's a massive talent ready to replace him next year. Still he deserves to be in F1, but I fear it might be another failed story of the Red Bull program. Wouldn't be the first good driver to lose out on an F1 seat thanks to that program.
I don't put a lot of trust in the rumour that they'll demote him to Toro Rosso, but then again... they have 'ruthless Helmut' making and influencing decisions which makes it look possible after all.

Ouch, the Helmut has struck and apparently when it comes to decision on drivers he has even more power than I thought.
Might be good news for Max though. Depending on if they can sort the engine problem. He'll be getting a new contract so he'll be locked down till 2020 my guess.

A good start when Mercedes gets crapped out in the first lap. Mixes the field up
Had to turn off SkyF1 after the race though... they spent most of the time after the race on that incident and stirring up other shit. Getting a bit tired of their crap.
Nice drive from the first 4, some flawless driving by Max in the last laps. That being said: in the current formula it's a daft track where there's not much overtaking possibilities.

What a performance by Verstappen
I could watch only some final laps, but he showed the metal strength of a veteran, which bodes well for his future.
It was also tragicomical from the perspective of the Ferraris, even when Mercedes kill each other, they still can't win xD

fuck that lame f1, 24h race on the nordschleife was fucking awesome.
1st and 2nd place came in with 5,7 seconds difference after fucking 24hrs (with a brutal, but still fair overtaking in the last round). only downpoint -> massive dominance of mercedes. audi had not chance this year

Commentators in the UK were moaning about the lack of help the pit crew could give the drivers over radio.
I thought it was fantastic hearing the drivers moan and sulk, more please

Yup, the same ones whining about team orders are whining for again... silly sky.
Also bitching about the swearing... I bet if they wouldn't put attention to it most people wouldn't notice. Talking 2 minutes about something you bleeped out... get real.
Gives us more of their whiny bitching in the car! Kimi was golden again
Race itself was a bit daft, expected a lot from it but it ended up rather boring. Lot's of overtaking... just very cheap ones

The race will be a boring one they said, not much will happen they said
What a beautiful drama , Rosberg trying to do the Hamilton move on Hamilton himself, fool! . Verstappen racing like a boss, same for Kimi, and Pirelli...being Pirelli xD

I kinda like vettel, but cannot stand rosberg. Idk why rosberg seems like a major douchebag...
Hamilton is a typical f1 champion IMO, a bit crazy, selfish, 'does what it takes' kind of guy (like alonso for example), which is fine.

I think Vettel improved with the move to Ferrari, he's less faking it than he was at Red Bull. He's a whiner though. Sure he has daft humour but eh at least he is now the guy he is in his private life mostly. At Red Bull he was always imitating the older drivers and too busy trying to be 'cool'.

Nowadays Ferrari drains every single ounce of hope and self-esteem from drivers, leaving them completely soulless. That's why Vettel is becoming less annoying xD
At least there's Kimi who thrives in this, since his nature doesn't allow him to have fucks to give to begin with.
All joking aside, if I had to choose between Rosberg and Hamilton, I'd always pick the latter. Yes perhaps he acts like a chav at times (and dat dressing style ), but at least he's more genuine and less "shady" than Rosie in my opinion.

Haha xD, he surely won't leave until he dies. Or to be more precise, when his central unit will stop working, which for a synth typically happens after 300 years.

Haha yeah, the V vs V drama is by far the most entertaining part of the circus, hands down
Vettel was really mad today: https://streamable.com/fwxo xD
