If you have them, they will remain available for download. You paid for them, they are yours. Unless Beth is doing something really stupid and ask for the games to be removed from the library, too.
And with their track record, i believe Beth capable of any low blow. meanwhile on Steam, Fallout Collection is selling with 5 euro until 19th of December. Might mean that games could be pulled from Steam, too, for a while.
Still waiting for Beth to remove GFWL from bloody Fo3. Not likely to happen, though.
Thought i had to try this, and i've cleared the radscorpions, and now in the raiders camp. Something truly peculiar happened. Text bubbles over everyones head spun like crazy, and when i reached the guy where the girls were he said "i killed you" and my alternatives are of the likes of "yes, you did" etcetc.. What the fuck has happened? Did i do something terribly out of order? cause i've never met this guy in my life (30 mins of Fallout 1 life)

Not having played these while growing up, it's kind of difficult to know what to focus on when leveling. I've prioritized small arms, lockpicking and speech.

Those are pretty good. I tend to pick those 3 on my "standard" FO1 and 2 runs. Small arms gives you access to a lot of weapons, lockpicking gives you direct access to most areas and speech lets you avoid a lot of combat if you desire.
Science is pretty good in Fallout 2, it gives you access to quite a few cool results in quests and things.
Should i ditch my companion in this game? I've heard bad things about companions and he's already hit me for like 8 once already..
In the first Fallout you should give them semi auto weapons and pray they don't hit you. In Fallout 2 companions are much better (and can level up), though still have a wonderful habit of bursting you.
Generally I avoid companions in FO1, but take atleast 3 in FO2.
Fallout 1.5: Resurrection is a modification for Fallout 2. Its story takes place chronologically between 1 and 2, hence the name. It takes place in New Mexico.
What is the estimated play time?
Beta testers, who were the first to play through the game, estimate that Resurrection is around 25 hours long during normal gameplay.

I played this about a year ago with a shitty google translation. I'd say 25 hours is a rather conservative estimate, since I managed to play for more than 30 hours (though I was really taking my time) before the patch bugged out and I couldn't continue. It's very very good, the quest design in particular is great and features heavy amounts of multiple solutions to problems and choices with consequences.
There's also another amazing russian TC, Fallout of Nevada, which is even better and features some of the best quests I've ever seen in a RPG, with tons of stat and skill checks and non-obvious quest solutions, encouraging both exploration and experimentation, and an almost total lack of pure fetch quests. It's also huge, probably bigger than FO2. Unfortunately, it's unlikely it'll ever be translated, mostly due to the ridiculous amount of text.

Indeed, though Dogmeat does manage to be useful from time to time. In all my playthroughs, Ian always had the nasty habit of hitting the PC more often than his enemies, at least until he either got mauled (usually during the Gizmo shootout) or I got tired and critted him in the eyes.

Great news, forgot about Resurection.
Now if only Mutants Rising would come about just a little bit faster (still not dead apparently). I was young an beautiful when they started
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world following "The Great War," a nuclear war that occurred on October 23, 2077. The war lasted less than two hours, but caused immense damage and destruction. Before The Great War came the Resource Wars, during which the United Nations had disbanded, a plague rendered the United States paranoid and Canada was annexed.
The game takes place in 2161, 84 years after the Great War in Southern California and begins in Vault 13, the protagonist's home. Vault 13's water chip, a computer chip responsible for the water recycling and pumping machinery, has broken. The Vault Overseer tasks the protagonist with finding a replacement. They are given a portable device called the "Pip-Boy 2000" which keeps track of mapmaking, quest objectives, and various bookkeeping aspects. Armed with the Pip-Boy 2000 and meager equipment, the protagonist is sent out into the remains of California to find another water chip.
Stop trolling me, please. The link you gave me isn't named "Fallout 1". It's Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game. Both EA and Bethesda are releasing games named "1", that's what I'm asking. It's not hard you guys. =/
Either you're trolling really, really hard or typical Bethesda low IQ consumer
Naah, trolling, gotta be. The original release date is clearly shown on the page.
Anyway, a quick reminder: Fallout 1 and 2 were made by Black Isle studios, a division of Interplay. Inerplay underwent a hostile takover by Herve Caen of Titus (and Superman64 fame), who a few years later sold all righs to the franchise to Bethesda for a ton of moustache wax. Bethesda made the abomination that is Fallout 3 and later derped even more with 4.
Ah, true. Anyway most people that made Fallout 1 were part of Black Isle.
Which has also been "resurrected" (or more likely raised as a shambling ghoul) with skeleton staff, failed to get any money on some weird fundraising site andI guess died again, no new info for a year now.
