Looks like Microsoft has taken measures to ruin everyone’s day. Folks on Twitter are reporting that purchasing and downloading the game for play now brings up puzzle game Hexic, which seems silly. On my end I can no longer start Red Dead Redemption as it’s been flagged as needing an update, but there is an error downloading it (likely because there isn’t really an update) and the game no longer starts. Readers note that playing offline works, so there’s that.
The day when Xbox One users can play Red Dead Redemption on their current generation consoles is finally here! That’s the good news. The bad news is it appears there are so many people trying to purchase the game, Microsoft’s online store is having problems handling the load.
Finally playing the game! After the ropy looking intro Im getting back into the game. The graphics were awesome for the time and sometimes the game looks great even today, its certainly not enough to stop me playing! Red Dead Redemption is one game I regret not completing so now is my opportunity and throughout Im sure I will be yearning for a sequel with current gen visuals!
I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?

Yeah Im pretty sure I got the choice to play Undead Nightmare before I started Red Dead Redemption which is great! Especially since it cost me £25
First session was 5 hours. I forgot how great the game is! Its so frustrating how John is so happy to help people especially that Nigel Dickens West! I know its all in the game and scripted but it would be nice to have more control over the dialogue. Maybe the sequel will implement Witcher style decisions. Speaking of the Witcher which I was playing a lot before RDR got released, I keep double pressing the left stick to whistle for the horse and pulling L2 thinking Im able to use witcher senses to look for dead bodies! LOL!
Got a day off work today too so gotta put more hours in RDR shortly!
I miss my 360 and this game
So lately i've been thinking of getting an Xbox One just for this Is there anything else good on the Xbone that isnt available on PS4 and PC?
wow that's really few, i was expecting to see something like 20 at least. Well, i think i'll wait, cant really justify buying a Xbone just for this game to be honest hehe
Finished the game. Got a bunch of Stranger missions to do and bounties but I got through to end in about 26 hours. Truly an excellent game and visually has stood the test of time. I didnt think much to the Mexican revolution missions but everything else was great!
Had a couple of bugs including this one lol. Also I seriously fucking hate recording video on Xbox compared to PS4.
And dat ending! Never saw that coming! It was like being in a Tarantino movie! He would be perfect to make a movie based on the game if it ever happened!

John Marston's death scene was emotional! Especially after all that stuff with his wife and kid. I really liked the dialogue between them. And then the game continues has his son which I didnt initially like as a character but hes not too bad I guess. Taking down Edgar Ross in the duel before the crediits after maxing out deadeye was super satisfying! Hes hardly much of a final boss but it felt so good to avenge John.
Before I killed Edgar I went to see his wife lol. Hogtying women in this game sadistically satisfying!
Im going to continue playing to finish the sidequests I think but anything regarding Poker or Blackjack Ill be skipping.
Then Ill move onto Undead Nightmare which Im pretty sure I bought when it launched but got bored and never finished at the time.
I eagerly await the first video from Red Dead Redemption 2!

Many years ago there was a rumour going about that the next game would be titled "Red Dead Revolution" and would be set during the Mexican Revolution, so yea, pretty much a young John Marston.
EDIT: Wait I got my history mixed up, the Mexican Revolution started in 1910, only one year before the events of Red Dead Redemption, and lasted until 1920.
Yet who knows, the timeline in the previous game was already warped and not exactly historically correct, it could go either way.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will contain more than one playable character and feature a bigger open-world environment than before.
It’s also not too surprising to hear that it may feature the same critically celebrated protagonist-switching mechanic found in GTA V.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will cast you in the roles of Seth and Irish, along with a third fully customisable character. They also claim that the sequel will be called Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the Old West and feature purchasable safehouses and gangs you can join.
Reddit leak also stated that the game would take place 12 years prior to the events of Red Dead Redemption. Due to the ending of Red Dead Redemption, it’s not too surprising that Rockstar would opt to release a sequel set before the events of the first game.
Look how big the map is! Also I really hope and assume you wont get 'WASTED' when submerged in water! I was so frustrated when that happened in RDR and Ive been experiencing that a lot lol.
The map was posted to NeoGaf by someone claiming to have received it from a source, before hastily pulling it down. But this being the internet, the map had already been immortalised, although many commenters questioned its legitimacy.
A source close to the development of the new Red Dead game has now confirmed to us that the map is indeed the real deal, revealing that this is a "very recent" art direction map for the upcoming title.
They also confirmed that the game will be set before the events of Redemption, and that the new map is just east of the one that featured in Red Dead Redemption.
Take-Two Interactive will be at this August’s Gamescom trade fair in Cologne, Germany revealing numerous upcoming titles – one of which could quite possibly be Red Dead Redemption 2.
