Pretty sure most people (as in 99%) were well aware it was going to be rated PG-13 so they won't be negatively surprised by this.

The production started long before Deadpool become R-rated hit. They would have to do too many reshoots and CGI inserted gore to meet R. It was PG-13 from the start.

You won't see Marvel or DC making R rated movies (well, maybe like.. 1 or 2) no matter how many Deadpools are made. Even Fox, don't expect more R rated movies after Wolverine 3 (and Deadpool 2, 3, 4 female cast, teen remake, 4b (alternate sequel to the third after the controversial first 4th movie), 4b Part 2).

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
With 34 reviews counted on Rotten Tomatoes the film sits at 35% and a 5.3/10, that’s only a fraction above the 27% and 4.9/10 that “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” received.
The main complaints seem to be that they’ve crafted a team of interesting characters played by strong actors and then given them nothing to do – the story, the villain and much of the second and third act have come under much criticism.

I wanted to see this succeeding so DC would have more and more reasons to kick Hack ZzzZZzZnyder out
it's only doing poorly because the market is over-saturated. most reviews are saying it's the same ol' same ol. but is it civil war same old, or batman v superman same old.
Everyone should see Ghostbusters instead. It has 73% on RT
Yeah these are the same critics that praised ghost busters and age of ultron, so I think I'll take my chances with Suicuide Squad ... as with GB i went out of cinema disgusted not even midway
