I am always getting those two confused! But not anymore because Avast is acquiring AVG.

pfff... avast and AVG is one of the shittiest ones if u ask me..
moar like scareware.. just like avira nowadays with its scare tactics for upgrading.. Ur PC is at risk. In big bold fonts..
Just use "Brains.exe" 
and sometimes, you better dont use an Antivirus at all:

and theres so much more FAIL from that industrie...
ALso, you guys know that when you use an antivirus, that the data they send home is totally unregulated, means, they see everything you have and do.. i mean its an scanner that scans your PC.. and it has Powerfull Admin rights..
Just think about it for a second there..
of course, when using or handling cracks and such you want to be safe.. so go get a portable Offline scanner.. that you update manually..

Cool didnt know that both Avast and AVG originated in Czech 
As for biggest antiirus fails I still laught at how Windows Defender catched Uplay installe as a virus
