Seems Dice are fixing a whole lot of problems that were in their previous titles. Big thumbs up for in game browser. Can anyone tell me how the roles work ? If you spawn as a tank crew are you able to spawn as an infantry if you die ? Or are you stuck as a tank crew for the rest of the match ?

Not a fan of how the ping is displayed Sad
I want to see numbers, like in battlelog.

edit: Just noticed it's displayed in the server details. Why not display it in the server browser in the first place?

Really looking forward to this (even SP). I know very little about WW1. History lessons at my school sucked, and I somehow missed most movies about WW1 too (there weren't that many anyway). This will be probably my first Battlefield game (except BFBC2) I'll also play singleplayer. Laughing

Has anything been said about destruction yet? If so, will it be the same as in BF3/4 or will they do more destruction? I always felt that this is the one thing I want them to do better, I was more environment deformation, more destruction on buildings and such.
it seems pretty clear since the first gameplay that you can level almost the entire map

That's awesome if true! Smile I didn't buy BF Hardline and I barely played BF4 at all compared to how much I played BF3 so this one might be my return to the BF series. I think it's great that they're going to an older setting, it's something I've been yearning for a long time.

It is Smile ive totally destroyed buildings after nuking them from the behemoth Smile

They have actually said in advance that they scaled it down a bit with BF3 and BF4. Perhaps in not those exact words, but they did make it clear that they wanted enough of the structures to remain standing and put more focus on "micro" destruction.

I don't think they made any official public statements in that regard for BF1, but supposedly they assured people that got the early looks at the game that destruction is back in full force. Could sill depend on the map though. BF4 had a village that could be leveled almost entirely on Golmud Railway, for example.
