there werent any dynasty warriors games on the psx, there was only dynasty warriors 1 which was just a usual 1 on 1 fighting game. it didnt belong to the dynasty warriors series from the ps2, the us version was labeled differently.
hence dynasty warriors 5 us = dynasty warriors 4 jap.
i remember playing dynasty wars on the amiga though a long time ago.
you could choose out of 6 chars and then ride a horse through waves of enemies,
was great fun back then.

Just to verify... DW4-HYPER for PC is DW5-US for PS2, right?
I had a ton of fun with DW5 for PS2, but I'd never played DW4 and prior. SW was awesome and was my first taste of this genre. Devil Kings is a nice game written by another company, too.

why is this so much bigger than the traditional chinese version? the traditional one was 2.8gh compressed....don't know how much it is decompressed, i'll check it

Are you used to give a 7/10 to game which has only ONE SAVING SLOT?!WFT?! 1 Slot, so you are unable to play various modes paralely, because every new save game overwrites the previous one? The game shows 3 save slots, but uses only one. Why?
