Where is Mark Wahlberg?

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

if only the FX (and consequent budget) were more refined... this looks promising!

Saw it today in cinema and I must say that I'm surprised Smile

It's way better than the imdb rating shows. VFX and overall production values look and feel very good. Of course it's not completely photorealistic but it really is beautiful.
Good humor and compulsory clichés in terms of story but most important it isn't a blatant "for-mother-Russia" (as in "USA-USA-USA" in Hollywood) propaganda but it goes actually so far as to mention NATO and Russia and discussing things in a probable manner. I mention this because I was expecting how Russia saves the day (as in muricans hoo-rah). It isn't like this at all. It somehow managed to sort of balance between a family drama and action most of the time (the end was still an awful cliché for story purposes).

So, if you have a chance then do watch it in cinema not at home Smile
