Witcher 3's POI's just had a monster or two and random loot
what about diagrams and stuff like that?
Pretty sure they're random too, plus level scaled. There's very little set loot, like the Witcher gear diagrams. But all the POI stuff and exploration in general is just for money and experience really. The stuff you get is worse by default than the Witcher gear you craft and there's not really any stories to them either. Kill monster(s), loot chest(s), sell to vendor. Rinse and repeat.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Even on the PS4, visuals are lovely Faces are a bit hit and miss though, much like DXHR. I'm liking the Crysis 2-style object highlights rather than the bright yellow stuff... and the overall ambience is no longer piss yellow

That real DX-styled bionic arm for amputees!!
~edit~
Presentation over. That was damned good!
*DXMD Hub gameplay. Prague looks gorgeous and there's a lot more paths and solutions to problems, with a focus on verticality and exploration. Also possible to find/take on new missions and sidequests in the world.
*DXMD Breach. A new game mode built into MD that lets you earn money and compete with others around the world by making "runs" (Shadowrun! ) against corrupt and evil corporations.
*DX Go. A puzzle game in the Go series.
*openBionics. A real life DX-styled low-cost fully-functional prosthesis project for amputees. It's even open source for people to download and print/create for themselves.
Breach looks nice but it seems it's the same deus ex gameplay with all these weapons, grenades etc etc just different models\textures and that's it..It's a kinda lazy approach to the virtual reality.. disappointing..

The visuals are a bit underwhelming. Everything looks flat and washed out, plus I noticed a lot of low-res textures. But whatever, the gameplay seems to be better than ever so I'm still hyped.

yeah, pretty ugly looking game. Seems this franchise just can't catch a break in the visual department. Its been like this since the first game which probably had the worst UE1 implementation of all the games that used it. Then HRevolution had the worst implementation of UE3. I'm still shocked how ugly looking everything is in that game
The graphics alternate between pretty good to pretty bad in every trailer I see. On the whole I'd say they are more bad than good but whatever.
edit: not UE3 ^
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Yup, just like reveal trailers and now, I'm with consolitis; visuals fluctuate a lot between good and bad. It's a definite step up from DXHR, no doubt, but then.. that game is five years old.

The facial animations are on pair with Half-Life 2 (12 year old game).

They wont look different on PC..
And we don''t care
Old graphics or not this game will still be better than pretty much every AAA title in the last decade (with very few exceptions)

Most of the textures look washed up and they seem to lack even the more generic effects.
Finally watched the whole thing, good stuff (I care only for the "main" game, though - they can keep the rest for themselves ). The hub isn't exactly huge but if there are many different paths to choose from and interactions with characters available, I'm very much ok with that.
I hope all the markers and invasive HUD elements can be turned off (the default settings are basically a handholding_mode ), otherwise the gameplay looks very similar to HR which is positive of course. Jensen is even more overpoweraugmented now, which is scary...but time will tell whether we asked for it or not xD
Facial animations aside, the visuals seem quite decent to me, albeit nowhere as impressive as the old tech video for instance (but that was to be expected, with the nanocouchmachines), and at least like Sab mentioned, the piss palette is gone, which is a big plus as far as I'm concerned.
