Speaking of which, the Immersive Cam has been updated today^^ (I just tested it and works fine, just copy the folder et voilĂ ). Other bigger modifications are taking more time, but it's all normal.
I'm doing a quick Novigrad test to check on the performance, and it seems slightly improved on my end, especially the 'hitching' due to streaming textures that I had is almost nonexistent now. I suspect it has something to to with he new methods implemented (the 'garbage collector' gc.ini file's structure has been updated as well as far as I can see). Good

After the update some of the graphics options were reset. Have a look if everything's okay there. Also at a few places in the new areas there are slowdowns and framedrops in the ~20 range, so some optimization is needed.

Yep same for me. Just doing all the grey quests first, so i don't outlevel even more quests.
Too bad the exp is crap then, but at least the gold and material rewards are often still ok.

@3E74
Might first try deleting the two .settings files here:
%userprofile%\Documents\The Witcher 3
Or try unplugging a gamepad you have installed.

Does anyone have a 100% save from the base game so i could just go through the expansions instead of doing it all over again? i just cant ignore all those unsolved question marks xD

Finished, damn it was good.
Got the best ending. Protip: never stop being Compassionate Detective Geralt, it pays off.
Also checked out the bad ending, they actually do a fun thing with it, CDPR attention to detail is legendary now.

So, if I reinstall this game will I notice the extra content immediately, or does it only "open up" after a certain point?
Extra loot from expansion included throughout the entire game?

Hearts of Stone content will be visible since it takes place in the same area as the regular game, but most of the new stuff is concentrated in the northeast area of the map. Blood & Wine stuff is in a different zone.

Beat the expansion finally. Took me 28 hours and I explored everywhere and did every quest, didn't skip through any cutscenes. It was mostly a very solid experience but I think parts of the story dragged on too long (and that also goes for the cutscenes in the latter part of the game). I didn't think any of the quests were as interesting as The Bloody Baron or Hearts of Stone, but they were very distinct and sometimes quite funny. I also liked all the Witcher 1 throwbacks - Manticore armor, giant centipedes and archspores, various vampire species, the return of a certain sword and NPC, references to events in Vizima, etc. I was disappointed when I went back to Novigrad after the end of the expansion and Dandelion didn't have any new dialogue options even though people talk about him numerous times in Toussaint.
Performance was worse in Toussaint than anywhere else in the game, which is strange since CD Projekt said the region uses a new rendering system that's supposed to be more efficient. The worst fps drops came during fights in the forest, particularly against archspores. Also whatever new smoke/particle system they're using causes big fps drops.
The player house ended up being kind of useless. I guess it's aimed at Elder Scrolls/Fallout people who like having their own home, but those people will be disappointed at the lack of customization. The house upgrades give you small timed bonuses but even on Death March it's not like you need them. I wonder if events at the house are tied to your main story progress, because nobody visited me but I heard Yennefer showed up for some people.
Overall I'd rate it 88%. It's crazy how much new content there is, it's almost like a new game rather than just an expansion.
