I don't understand what is so hard about making a clone release. Isn't all you do buy the game, and then make an image from alcohol 120? How does that take any skill?

why does it even qualify as a release. it shouldn't be on the site unless it's cracked. its pretty much worthless not cracked since anyone can just go on in and make an image.

Wrong... and its not about how easy it is with clones, its about how fast you can pre it.

Wrong in as, it is not useless... with todays emulation software, you can stille play/use the clone release.

If they didnt make them... where would you get them? buy them and image them yourself... would that not defeat the point Razz?

Clones are easy to make for SOME games, others, such as SFCLones require more work... But at the end of the day, a release allows you to get a game, without it, you would have to buy.. Don't complain Razz

Taken from MiRROR Q&A:
Quote:
Q-10: Is it true that Cloning requires no talent, very little effort and
no basic intelligence to accomplish ?

A-10: Yes, this is true, in theory ANYONE can make a CloneCD, however practice has shown otherwise, unfortunately attaining quality is not possible when you do not know what you are doing, information available is usually outdated and based on rumors instead of facts and tutorials will prefer one method to the other for other reasons then user benefit. Given all these misguidances, it is apparent that intelligence is definitely necessary, at least to filter out the spam.
