I just ordered a philips tv that had 4k resolution and 3d for 319 pounds (uk).
Sending it back as it is too small only 40 inches.
I'm after at least a 42 inch tv that has top response time for pc gaming and also 4k resolution for movies etc, not too bothered about 3d atm.
I have a budget of 400 uk pounds max so any good recommendations please?
I am after 50 inch tv if possible but cannot see it having all the features i want for a 400 pound cost.

Thanks.

Yes, give one.
Oh wait... that's not what you went on about... clickbait title!

Can't recommend anything really. I don't follow it much, usually I just do the research when I'm buying one.

Very Happy

on topic: 400 pounds isnt enough if you want a good 4k 48-52 inch tv. sadly all of those shit thingys have 3d (what nobody uses and just costs extra money). you have to invest about 700-800 pounds (judging by current euro prices, shouldnt be that different in the uk though). or try to get a cheap one like the Hisense LTDN50K680 (which is about 700 euros here in germany). just like the older models -> for the money its great, no smart tv shit which nobody uses, triple tuner etc. but most likely like the older ones (got a few for a friends in the last months) -> lame ass slow navigation (menu, channel switching) and smells like china for about a week after unboxing it Very Happy but for that price great

edit: meh forget about that hisense, only hdmi 1.4. maybe some newer modells available now with 2.0? dunno
