I doubt it, you need at least 400w, I would go with a 450/500w PSU though.

I used to run my P4E 3Ghz, 1GB ram, a X800XL and several hd's and other stuff with a 350w enermax psu without any problems. The 6600 does not need that much power, i would try it with your 300w first, if it's a good one, dont know that modecom myself though.

I tried, and thanks God it is working... Smile but hell don't know why I cannot mode cpu and mem to higher level than 400/650. I've got something like game (eX NFSMW) is running for five minutes on those clocks without any problem (damn 60 fps though) and then after those '5' minutes there is a break time for PC and he stands for let's say 10 seconds and after that clocks are turned to defaults (300/550) Moreover after a few minutes situation repeats and this time clocks tune up to higher level (I tried many different solutions ex 450/800 and WinFox didn't say that its to much for cooling system, it worked fine until 3d was turned on). Is it because of PSU? Maybe card don't have enough power for higher clocks.... say stg Razz

default clocks - 300/550
tuned up to safe level(works fine every time) - 400/650
tuned up (stopping for a moment and changing clocks) - every single one higher than above let's say 450/700

to remind you I've got damn ModeCom FEEL 300w

Well you know that overclocking ends at some point. OC'ing the card from 300/550 to 450/800 without any cooling is hard to accomplish and you have to take into consideration that the ram on the card might not be able to run at a speed of 800. I wouldn't bother if the card runs stable at 400/650, it's just not worth the hassle.

i got same psu & it's a good one,u need 400+watt only if u have like 4*200gb hdds & 4 dvdrws otherwise with that config it's useless & i have similiar setup as u got only with 1 hdd, dvdrw external Wink

I bought a new one because my four year old Enermax was really loud under load, my new Sharkoon is really quite in comparison Smile

well you know I read on some web pages that it is posiible to run this GF on 450/700 without a problem so I still don't know why I can't but I assume that this might be a PSU don't you think (not considering card limit... let's imagine that this card has defaults settings settled and I'm upgrading it to 400/650...)

u have to know that each card reacts diffrently on overclocking,
btw extra 50mhz won't give u much boost maybe 2-5 fps no more, so i'd say be happy that u could manage to get close to 6600GT speed Wink
