Nice to watch scenes like this knowing what has happened since:
Jamie's role and impact has been lesser recently though. Apparently the book Jamie doesn't really care a lot about family mirrored by his defiance towards his father and love for Tyrion, but now in the tv-show he's all about family, and behaves like a shadow/bodyguard of Cersei, walking at her side whereever.
Fire doesn't quite work like that, dear GoT writers.
Writing remains crappy and the show keeps relying on spectacle, with violence and tits spread around with equal measure. Tyrion keeps spouting out-of-place modern observations fit for college debates - though he must be more drunk than a sailor drowning in rum. It's going in circles and nothing much really happens.
Yeah, Ramsay hasn't been a compelling antagonist for a long time now. Every time he appears on screen I just think to myself "here we go, someone is going to die in the most comically brutal way possible".
Fire vs Ice soon. I hope. Get to it, please. But first we need to see Ramsay beaten by Jon Snow, the Free Folk and the Knights of the Vale - then - maybe I get to see my big humans versus zombies battles... unless there's something boring with Daenerys...
Ep5 was a good episode, better than the previous one, I thought.
But
Spoiler:
Really, Sansa? You said No to the Knights of the Vale joining you just because of Little Finger's involvement? ... and lie to Jon about Little Finger providing army info? ... Ok.
