I've heard of people with other/older cards also gaining from the driver. It's worth trying out.
It might not fix your particular issue tho, since that one seems to be about Doom itself. I've seen that trick work for both Nvidia and AMD cards who had severe issues. It might not be helped by drivers.
From benchmarks, it seems only Hawaii cards were affected by performance issues, and those were fixed by the driver. Other AMD cards already performed nominally.

That's a great improvement, at times now the 390 is actually faster than the 970 (and at others, slower)!

With the new drivers,They are almost equal,with 970 overall having slightest advantage,I think it's true for some games as well,but we pretty much know the 390 beating 970 at most games,though the gap is not the that huge.

Just out of interest (I am not going to buy this for myself so don't really care). But, why did you lads slag this off when you played the beta a few weeks ago, but now you are loving it? Surely in a few weeks the game cannot have changed to any significant degree?
MP vs SP I guess? What almost everybody is praising is the SP which the beta was lacking.

MP still not as good as SP AFK ,but it wasn't done by same Company.
I personally having my hope that with great SP it will attract modders that will improve the MP...
We know games like HL's series,,and Some blizzard games that mods made those games better then the official ones,though I really doubt DOOM's would have anything even close to CS or DOTA.

The stance on the hump has shifted greatly immediately once better video footage appeared, like the nvidia video. And on the mp part, as you can see, they still think its shit.

Blah blah fucking blah. The SP never "looked fine" because up until a few weeks ago we didn't even know what it fucking looked like, and when we found out; we liked what we saw. The MP is terrible and those of us that actually played it agree. Get down off your high horse, it's unsafe up there for children without parental supervision.

Because the beta was MP only and the MP is a terrible Halo-esque grotesquery that the majority of us just didn't enjoy. Nobody had even seen any SP footage until Bethesda's recent Twitch SP runthrough.
Game released, SP is amazing, MP is still terrible.
