Reedus posted a picture of the Kojima Productions logo to his Instagram account shortly after his meeting with Kojima, as reported below. However, without a caption or explanation, it's basically just another tease. Come on, guys. This is starting to get cruel.

Kojima's Silent Hills experiment may have been pulled from the PlayStation Store but you can still re-download it from the PlayStation servers. That is re-download, mind, if you've never owned it then this method won't wok for you.
I tried my game the other day and it game me some error. So I tried to redownload it via my library which also failed. So I uninstalled it and tried to redownload again via my library but again it failed. I then followed this guide and have the demo working again!

You dont understand a thing , the PS3 and Xbox360 did not had licenses tied to your system , so you could download demos and play them ... but if you did not have the license you cannot play games on your PS4 and Xbone ... simple put PS4/Xbone demos have license DRM on them thats Tied to your Login account ... thats why if you've never owned it then this method won't wok for you ... if you dont have the license of KONAMI PT DEMO this method won't wok for you...

the ONLY way of getting the DEMO NOW , is by DELETING ALL OF YOUR STUFF from you HDD by SYSTEM RESTORE and using a BACKUP of a USER that has the license (privilege) to play this DEMO

The rest of you i.e who want P.T but you got your Ps4 recently after it's cancellation and never downloaded it before these are the steps (only for US region):
1) Restore the backup given in the video (P.T will appear but with a lock)
2) Get a friends (US) account who has P.T fully installed or owns the license.
3) Account sharing by using your friends P.T license, that means login with your friends account activated as the primary device to play P.T on your Ps4 then logout and deactivate to give it back, everytime you wanna play.
Now, for the other guys who fall under the European region (EU) who had P.T before and got deleted but it's details with the license is still in your account (check your library if it's there), then get someones European backup of P.T from his/her Ps4, follow the steps in the video and also get it uploaded to help everyone else. As for the ones from the EU region who did not have P.T before, read the other steps for US region except you will need both, someones EU account and a EU backup of P.T.
The reason for this post is that, there are still many people who want to get their hands on P.T demo after it got removed. This is the only method to get it working without the Ps4 getting hacked yet.
BTW if you tried any of the above, also if you have your own potential methods/tricks to combine with the backup method, then feel free to comment below just to let the others know.

Well PS4 did the most horrible thing in OS design that is just a FUCKING FACEPLAMING , Patches and Game DATA are on the same partition ... saves are on different partition ... so when you deleted a game on a PS4 you also delete the Patches (saves are not deleted !!!) ... on PS3 when you removed a game ,you only deleted the game DATA !!!! (patches and saves where on the same partition so they where safe !!!) ... this makes PS4 os a backward ass stupid ...
You will ask "your stupid , you will still have your saves that will work with the disc version" ... ehm NO, they will work with a version that was patched to a specific patch ... yeah ... This generation just fucked the users big time ... your saves mean nothing now without a specific patch
Imagine you deleted a game , because low space for a new game ... then you reinstall it to replay it .. like in 10 years ... will your saves work ... will those patch servers still have the patch ...
This generation of Consoles are awful in data persevering ... PS3 and Xbox 360 where the last good current gen that had a good patch system ...

i would ask but ... this game DEMO is region specific it has 4 licenses ... and well we might be banned , Sony now disables games with double licenses and deletes them from HDD !!! after that Mexican/ Indian PSN Clone Nand method that gave you 30 free games for 10$ ...
For PS3 your reasoning is only true for disc content.
For PSN games / digital versions, patches are applied in the game folder directly, so if you delete the game it deletes the patches.

But you are right, most likely because of this brazilian method, they are checking for active licenses once in a while if your PS4 is online. They added this check on 2.50 FW.
You can circumvent this by staying offline (but bye bye PSN).
