Anyone know how to adjust the hands fov a.k.a viewmodel FOV. In previous IDtech it was atleast in wolfenstein "cvaradd hands_fovscale 1.0", but here it doesnt work.

after checking with fps counter in some scenes i have 60 or more, in some I dont (everything maxed out) wich is absolutely normal if you dont have top notch hi end specs, it was aalwaaays this way, it doesnt bother me at all, just turned it off, I wanna be killing demons, not looking if my fps dropped 10-15 frames or whatnot, and if I wanna some more fps I just lower the shadows/aa or some other stuff and move on.

god i want my new system (release the 1080 damn,it!) so i can play this in all its glory on my 1440p gsync monitor. My ol' 780 is struggling pretty bad but i'm loving the game, i should really stop & wait so i can play it properly -.-

So how IdTech 6 is doing texture-wise (on highest quality texture settings)? Does it have any of the problems of its predecessor with awfully blurry Mega Texture implementation? Does the texture quality in Doom 4 stand on par with texture quality of recent AAA titles?

Im suprised that this game runs wonderful in 3440x1440 with everything maxed. Wonderful!

It has a lot of stuff I should love with couple annoyances , but for some reason it all feels just "meh"

they arent the sharpest textures around but they dont load in slowmo blurry shit like in RAGE, overall it looks great, style suits the doom game very well, it matches that gory scfi carnage perfectly, it would feel to sterile and clear in cryengine for example.

Game is mediocre at best. Textures are pretty bad from where I'm sitting, but the gameplay is archaic 90s stuff with almost nothing to motivate me.
Then again, I didn't like the original Doom after playing it for a couple of days.

So Nvidia was running Vulkan drivers on the GTX 1080, but there isn't any Day 1 Vulkan support?
It's pretty obvious why it's not here yet.. them first benchmarks do matter 
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

I've only heard of 1 which was a character cut from Doom 3 but included in the novelization. IMO if it's anything, it's perhaps an "inspired by" thingy, anything more I think they would had said something or the people that have played through it would have found some definitive links (not vague allusions).
