@Stormwolf
Yes?
Well i never had the feeling that the DLC was that much dependent on what happened during the end game anyways.

But seeing how with the new DLC you travel to another place, i'm pretty sure it will play after the main story finished. Very Happy

Well, it was released after the main game, so of course it's best to finish the main story first. Content however is somewhere during the main story which left me a bit confused when playing. I was screwing Yennefer, and suddenly Geralt wanted to drop everything and go with Shani Laughing
The story and the DLC in general was brilliant, the Shani part however was not. It should have been a casual fuck for the sake of the rest of the game.

Hmm. Basically, I just want to know if I play Hearts of Stone before I finish the main story, I won't get spoilers for the main quests. The game won't assume I've beaten it already.

There aren't any spoilers, it was designed to be played during or after the main quest. I don't even recall any characters from the main story being involved in the DLC.

Now that I think of it, I guess that is most likely the case, thanks. Just seeing the recommended level make me think it was end game content.

When you first install the expansion it'll give you the option to either keep playing with your current character or level yourself up to 32. I started it probably around the 80% completion mark of the main quest and was fine.

Anyone noticed the difference between polish and u.s. versions of " Blood and Wine" game videos ? Seems like americans are fine with violence but still shocked by a depiction of a naked woman so they cannot be allowed to see it.

the HOS quests are clearly marked in the logbook, but the whole expansion is set in the north part of the map where you would previously be teleported back if you wandered off.

Also, completely unrelated story wise to the main quest. it's basically like one giant sidequest.

They planned this DLC during game production, as some locations that I found in the base game, that looked like story locations, were never used, until the expansion.
