StarForce developers are giving starforce away in order to promote it.

congratulations again for the most effective copy protection ever. if the task of a protection is to protect games from being bought, then we have a winner here... long lives starforce!!!
btw, let me add how ironic is this chart. the 1st 2nd and 3rd best selling games are available on the net both cloned AND cracked.

Rules are stupid. You are supposed to reproduce the effect of weeks / month of starforce games, in a few hours ?
The drive must not work on another computer ... so fucking up my burning software, or the drivers of my DVD drive is allright for them ?
Plus, only offering 1000 $ They don't seem to be very confident here ...

Gangland v1.0 was succsefully cracked and it was starforce, and I believe there are some others. From what I've seen they take awhile and patches tend not to get cracked because of that fact.

are you sure? 'cracked' does not mean using D-tools, sfcure, unplugging your drives etc.
'cracked' means playing without the disc using the no-cd exe. as far as i know the only SF game that was cracked is BIA:earned in blood, and it wasnt truely 'cracked'. the no-cd was simply from BIA.

Sniper elite, area 51, 7sins, silent hunter 3, toca race driver 2, gangland, breed...=SF3=CRACKED. The list is decent. All of them are with fully functional and fully working proper cracks.

No need to get hostile, Freakness, I realize I made a mistake when i foolishly said that no Starforce games were cracked. For that I apologize. What I really meant was that since it takes so long to actually crack those games, most groups seem to think it's not worth the bother. Exceptions exists, though. For instance my favorite group, Reloaded, cracked TOCA Race Driver 2 even if it is a bit on the old side. My hope is that Reloaded and Deviance (those two groups seem to be the only ones that actually devote time to crack games nowadays) will continue their quest and bring us all great games. I mean I buy lots of games but even so I get the cracked executables 'cause I don't want my CDs or DVDs to stop working due to overuse. It has actually already happened with Baldur's Gate II (CD 3 is almost unreadable) and I don't expect the software houses giving me a new disc... Sorry for the long ranting.
