Yes, though there's no indication of whether you can create SP *campaigns*, with maps that load subsequent maps, as everything they showed off at the conference had them dropped back to the "lobby" after completing each map. Oh and it's online-only, because of course it is.

Hm... that doesn't sound too good. I hope that the limitations of map size are at least increased by alot on the PC version.

Still, that's actually pretty cool. I had the impression that stuff is only for that shoddy MP which I don't care about at all.

If this is cursed with Denuvo, I'd even might pick it up for 30-35€.

They should've promoted the game like this from the beginning, it looks way faster and better than the PS4 version they've been showing.

It might be ~45 GB on PC as well (at least the download size).

The retail release of Doom will come with “a single disc,” and like Fallout 4 will require a fairly hefty 45GB download from Steam.

Rage, new blood, this, all are megatextures... but I am not sure. If this idtech 6 is not using megatextures then we are saved

Your card will not run it 60fps maxed out, this is not idtech5. I guess low/medium textures are for 2GB cards, since it uses at 1080p almost 3GB VRAM maxed out.

Those benchmarks looks brutal... and broken. 780sli have worse performance than single 770 ?
Thanks for this !

isnt it 60fps even on consoles? I bet I can customize it for 60 anyhow. My 7870 have higher oc clock than 7950... for whatever that matters.

I am only good with locking to 30fps if ps4 is running it at that framerate. Then I feel like at least, I am not worse than consoles Laughing

benchmarks are from the old beta, only limited gfx settings there. not maxed out (and not ultra nightmare whatever gfx settings or what they call it). and yes its 60fps on consoles, played the alpha on ps4 -> doesnst look good ofc as on pc. solid and constant 60fps werent possible on pc with high preset on my 770, almost but not 100% 60fps all the time
