Serious answer (prolly not wanted here): He decided that he wanted to be black, his grandparents let him make the choice himself. In case you didn't know his father has an African ethnicity and his mother an European.
Edit: I personally do think that a person should be able to define his/her own identity.

It's pretty mucn confrimed at this point for number of reasons:
1. There is no really any good "theory" that counter it both with facts and logic.
Religous arugments are weak and not worth to even mention,you are wellcome to study and watch videos,you will understand that evolation is complex but very logicial.
2.As mnetion,there are actually enormous Archaeologal evidences and observed cases that support evolution,so it's pretty much a "theory" like gravity.
