I played Adr1ft last night and was completely blown away with how much fun that was.
Time Machine VR was also very impressive at some points.
I have to say I'm really glad that every morning I see 2-3 new games/demos available. Looking at the climb right now, still thinking about it, I might wait for the hand controllers to come out first.

There was a reddit thread about that exact thing, but it seems Oculus feels the website is fine.

Quote:
Sorry, I had to say it. Might be an unpopular opinion but I really hate their website. Just from the main page, https://www.oculus.com/en-us/ where do you even login? Where can I download Home? Where do I check my order? Buy games? Download drivers? It's not user friendly at all and I HATE browsing their site, it's difficult to find what you need and it shouldn't be. It's a confusing and poorly designed website.

Answer from Luckey:
Quote:
The functionality is optimized around a different set of goals than many people in this thread seem to assume. The front page of our website was not designed to sell games to people with VR headsets, nor was it designed to push software updates to people without a Rift in hand or Home installed. Home is meant to be installed and configured with a Rift plugged in, and nobody with a Rift is going to have a hard time making that happen.
I am not saying the site is perfect, but people who are complaining about our site lacking features that are built into Home or lamenting the difficulty of getting their development kits to run consumer software should keep that in mind.

Considering all the bullshit Palmer Luckey has been saying lately I don't even know any more if Facebook is at fault. If it was all just Facebook, surely Luckey wouldn't go and defend all that crap like it's his baby?

Do what I did, resolve yourself to thats your ONLY hobby Razz. Literally its my ONLY hobby. I works, sleep, watch an hour or so of TV, and sit on my computer 99% of the hours a week (counting doing my job on it).

A wife,2 kids, a job..but still manage to play like 20+ hours easy, of games a week. (I say that like its a bragging thing, when i guess it can be a sad thing too.. Laughing).
Well, I guess working from home helps a lot too. On slow days I play the less intensive games I can step away from if needed.

Just a heads up for anyone who hasn't ran the compatibility test recently.

I ran the test when i pre ordered the rift and every component passed the test. Since then they have obviously update the program and now my computer fails the test.

It is failing on my onboard USB3 controller. It's a ASMedia USB 3.0 eXtensible Host controller - 0.96 Microsoft.

There are other controllers which do not work, i would run the test again and check the forums.

I have just had to spend £22 on a compatible card Evil or Very Mad

Also i now fail on my CPU i5 3570K although overclocked is faster than the recommended i5 4590K.

Glad i check and didn't find out when it arrived!

Yea mine failed the first time around a while back. I went ahead and got the card and installed it. I needed more ports anyway. I was running things of 2 sets of 6 port hubs.

The Climb is great - however, I end up banging my head into stuff as it seems like the range to where I need to grip goes closer and closer to the desk. Im sure this can be fixed somehow. Perhaps the reset view button.

hehe

You cant just sit still when you play it as the game require you to move around in your chair to reach those hard-to-reach spots. I like it alot but not sure how to make as little damage to myself while playing it. Probably by resetting view.

I tried to move the chair back 1-2m but that made me get further away from the mountain Razz
