Onimusha 3 features real characters...I think the character "playing" Samanuske played in the movie "Hero" but I'm not sure (about the movie).

Samanosuke Hidemitsu Akechi = Takeshi Kaneshiro

Takeshi Kaneshiro is a real actor, musician and writer who wasnt in "Hero". However, he was in "House of Flying Daggers" as the lead character, and also starred as Samanosuke in Onimusha.
What's more interesting, is that not only did he star in ONIMUSHA game, he also co-created the whole concept and story, and gave life to Samanosuke's appearance and personality.

The Path to Enlightment is as Thin and Narrow as the Blade of a Sword...

Damn, Onimusha 3 is much longer and larger than the first one. I particularly love the rain effect at the Boulougne Zoo levels.

Onimusha.3.READ.NFO-CLONECD

Special notes:
The iND ISO of this had a Japanese installer but otherwise it
worked fine in English. We present a release with a fully English
installer that contains the following languages:
Italian / German / Spanish / French / English.
Furthermore you might be interested to know that a v1.1.0.0 patch
without any protection has been released, google for it or try
the following url:

2 options :

1) Try it out yourself
2) Get a decent videocard.

Managed to figure it out.
But now I'm stuck at that castle after defeating Guildenstern.
I pick up the book, defeat all the enemies and realise that all doors are locked.
According to the walkthroughs you are suppose to switch to Jaq but that time thingy doesn't work.
