when i cure myself from hollowing, does this remove the girl that appeared next to yoel once he died? does she have a questline, that doesnt continue, when u remove hollowing?
You have stuff you do in Irityll or whatever it's called. Go to the the distant manor and walk back and jump down into the water and enter the place with the witch spider things and take things from there.
So after 37 hours i finished it , i really enjoyed it that nameless king is still the hardest boss in ds3 , i'd dare to say hardest in all dark souls games , that guy .. pffff took me so many tries , i think i stayed 2 hours there
Way better than DS2 (obviously) , and overall a good game 8/10 from me
Time for new game +
finally got some time to play. think i cleaned almost everything till the end of the undead village now and luckily got a dark sword really fast after getting the chamber lift key from leonhard
so far its not really hard, sure died here and there once or a few times but overall nothing special so far (and the bosses were piss easy)
I reinstalled DS2 today to refresh my memory and get an idea of how the gameplay feels compare to DS3. It's like playing on easy mode, enemies are way slower than in DS3 and do a lot less damage. Even the first Pursuer fight was a cake walk. The controls are also much less responsive and the camera is sluggish. DS3 really is a big improvement over its predecessor.
I just wish they did ng+ like dark souls 2. So far it's exactly the same as a regular ng with a couple of +1 items and more hp/dmg on enemies. Pretty disappointing.
For all it's faults, ds2 had the best ng+ thing I've seen in any game. More npc's, red phantoms everywhere and brand new items and boss weapons throughout.
You missed Smouldering lake. It's an area when you take the bridge down in Catacombs.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Kill Pontiff Sulyvan for story progression or you can go to the optional Smouldering Lake area. For the Lake you have to go right after the bridge that leads to Wolnir.
Invaders can't be attacked by the mobs in your world?
Took the Blue Sentinels covenant and was summoned to help. The invader was constantly running away like a bitch in cathedral of deep (outside area) to lure us into enemies and they didnt seem to attack him. Finally we managed to cut him from running and kill.
Also i guess there is no other way to progress in cathedral than running around the giant?
My first try didn't go so well and on the second i was summoned to help in the middle of my run and was almost killed when i returned

I am having trouble settling with weapon. Strength build.
Currently using heavy zweihander +4 and no idea where to find mpre upgrade materials

There's a tree in the Fire Shrine, looks like those Giant trees in Dark Souls 2 and when interacted with you can get a Seed of a Giant, when used this turns monsters hostile towards invaders.
(10% chance to drop from the tree after every time you've been invaded from a hostile player I believe.)
As for the giant 99 arrows and a decent bow and he's no problem, doesn't respawn either.
Arrows? pff, just go up to their feet and whack away, only have to worry about their slow stomp attacks, which are very easily dodged even in that muddy shit.
What feet i'm still in the upper part? Didn't find another way, but to run around him to progress. Was killed once and summoned to help in the middle of my charge for souls
