Tree boss was annoying.

I knew what I was supposed to do, but the stupid hitboxes and infinite spawning enemies made it annoying rather than fun and challenging.

It wasn't satisfying, I overcame an annoying obstacle and nothing more.

after 2.5 hours I'm done, the fun simply isn't there and I'm definitely suffering from Souls fatigue.

You should really to try to play coop if you have legit version.
So much more fun to gangbang bosses with 1-2 others.

Much more fun to tackle the bosses with your own abilities if you ask me. Each to their own though, i guess. Just killed highlord wolsomethingsomething on ng+ now \o/ he's easy as shit though.

tree boss was tedious, the way he's designed just makes it very time consuming without there being any actual threat.

highlord was bugged for me or something, he didnt start spawning any skeletons at all until the very end, but then he died 3sec later anyway.

im stuck at the next boss now tho,

He stands still when he summons the clone. Go in and nuke him while that happens, and you'll get the spirit down quite a bit. I just focused on the spirit after that. He'll summon a new one after a bit though, so when i killed him i killed 2 spirits during the fight >.<

Well fuck me with a broom i finished it. And the last 2 bosses made me want to break my controller in half. I've never met a game that could make me do that.

Trainer of this game is wonderful. It gets rid of the most of the stuff I hate. Specifically

a) allowing teleporting to the boss gate for quick retry if you put a waypoint before entering the boss
b) prevent soul loss on dying (no more soul loss because of cheap deaths)

I won't use any other features of the trainer since they are essentially cheating and not point to play if I'll cheat.

So I can try playing this again without wasting huge amount of time everytime I die.

it's tempting to cheat, but for me DS3 is like one of the few games I will enjoy this year, so I want it to last longer. I've probably lost over 100k souls so far lol, mostly in the classic fashion of trying to rage-run back to your souls instead of the methodical approach of picking off one enemy at a time.

im glad they removed the "lose max hp on each death" from DS2 though, one less frustration moment from dying.

Teleporting to the boss fight feels kinda overkill when you can just run to it (without taking any damage if you know what you're doing) from the nearest bonfire and get there in like 20 seconds Reaction

Overkill? This is the way how things like this happen on all games but this one. Why should I waste 20 seconds (it takes a lot more than that) and tire my fingers pushing the left stick and holding the b button for no reason!?!

And why should you die at all? It's an impossible feat in the vast majority of games these days, so why not turn on god mode?

Isn't that one of many things which make DS games so special? There is no "press X to win".

Your active buffs, you can see em in your status window. You've got the corynsomething ring which increases stamina regeneration speed and one of the two rolling rings, either the one that makes you less visible or the one that increases invulnerability frames but decreases defense.

The last time I've seen an icon like that was in Bloodborne on PS4, there was an icon for when another player was leveled down due to joining someone with a password who is much lower level than him.

May be that if you used passwords or something new?

Finally got those 73000 souls together to restore my good looks, although the mechanics of that (hollowing) still puzzle me a bit. Guess it's more for people who don't play online that much from what I read, since apparently it makes it harder for you to be invaded/invade other worlds?

Did it only for the looks though

I just read torches can be used on a number of enemies to panic them and do extra damage. I tested and it works, those slimes in Cathedral of the Deep die in two hits of the torch instead of taking forever to hack them to death with a weapon.

Or just use a fire enchanted weapon.
My fire longsword also does wonder against those mutated zombie lizard things near the Cathedral.
Makes them so easy, as they just get staggered with every hit.

I've spent the last two hours watching DSP attempt to beat Gundyr.

Watching him Fail is more fun than playing the game myself. Laughing
