Weird.. same here, I just got fifty updates on Steam, all "Completed" but all 0 bytes out of 0 bytes. Bizarre.

It seems that the arcane mystery of the Gabeupdates involves Steam deleting the contents inside the various _CommonRedist folders. I checked and they're all empty now 
Edit: I restarted Steam and now it's redownloading everything xD

in archi steam farm, how do you setup to be able to play while farming? if i start legit a game it says the bot will close

i think it auto stops and autorestarts it. You can customize how often it checks . I don't think you can use it at the same time since it behaves like another steam instance.

You use the VPN to change your country to India, not to buy from Store.

That's because you can't use a VPN for purchasing on Steam any more *unless* you have a currency that's valid in the country you're VPNing to. If you use a VPN to get USD, you need to have a US credit/debit card, a US PayPal address, or a Steam wallet card -- but then the wallet card will automatically convert to your *native* currency based on your registered Steam address/location.
If you just want to force the store to change prices, I recommend VyprVPN. It's free and gives you 500MB a month data which is enough for VPN purchases/activations.
For me, I just changed my Steam address to a fake Indian one No VPN needed, now my store displays INR currency ^_^ |

Only time I used VPN was to change my country to India, haven't touched the VPN since. |

2) And how safe is this really? I'm thinking of changing to India for a few weeks, but several things, and then change back to Germany.
3) I can play those bought games without VPN, even if i change back my country?

Seems they changed the review layout on the game store pages, you can't see numbers anymore and it filters from helpful, recent, only positive, only negative and funny.
Would have been nice if they had kept the number of reviews visible though but other than that it's not bad.
