The June 7th date was just a placeholder

Quote:
“I’m the editor-in-chief at GRYOnline.pl, the website that supposedly “leaked” the date. Unfortunately, I have bad news. The date that we set was a placeholder date, because all the official information point to Q2. The 7th of June was just an estimated date.

The way our date system is constructed, we have no option to set a more general date like Q2.

There is no confirmation yet as to when The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will be released. We’re really sorry for the misunderstanding, the date is now completely hidden on the game’s Encyclopedic entry.”

Decided to visit Skellige. But... performance is lower here than in Velen and even Novigrad... Confused

Also, checked net and people are overall reporting BETTER performance in Skellige.

Skellige way better than Novigrad on i5 2500, 6GB and 960 4GB. Almost 50-60FPS at high-ultra mixed settings.

Skellige had the worst performing area for me, that forest where you do the Leshen quest.

For me, the worst performance was in the manor from the Hearths of Stone, when torchlight is turned on.

It was the 'Foliage Visibility' range setting on ULTRA that was keeping my GPU busy at 99%. Back to HIGH and all is well.

What GPU?

See that nVidia released a hotfix driver that addresses some performance drops in the 364.xx drivers branch for mutliple series of graphic cards.

will this driver fix the framerate issue in 600 series cards? across all games? even dark souls 3?

Yes it includes a fix for the FPS drop.

Worth a try, I guess.

First five pics.

I prefer Triss aswell though.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Man, I am trying to find reasons to like Yen, but something's keeping me from doing so.

Only read 'The Last Wish' so I do know a little - but now enough, aparently - about their 'relationship', which sounds anyway more like a 'relationSHIT' considering Yen's play. Rolling Eyes

Problem is... I don't like that much Triss either. Laughing

Hm... I wonder what Shani is up to.

I didn't read the book, but in the game Yen is worked out much better. She's a more complete personality.

If you didn't read the book, how do you know that her personality is "more complete"?!

I DID read - like I said - 'The Last Wish' and I can clearly see, mirrored in the game, the way she was portrayed in that chapter. It didn't captured me then and it didn't now.

Though, it's fairly easy to understand Geralt's passion for her. Luckily, the player's choice can be different.

One of the things that bother me about Geralt is his partially submissive attitude towards that arrogant cunt.

His relationship with Triss is a lot more even - and definitely the one that appeals to me the most.
