So is this worth it? I liked toca 3 a lot, but grid 1 and 2 not that much.
Is the AI challenging? Any people online when there's no sale?

Not worth it if you didn't like Grid 1&2 since to me it feels like something in the middle of both.
It did not give me a TOCA feeling at all.

Pretty much this.  All the marketing screamed #TOCATOCAbacktotheroots, the game on the other hand, was 10% TOCA and 90% Griddidy Grid, with a lot of bad influence from Drifty Grid 2. The awful camera did not help either.
Basically, they managed to disappoint everyone, which is still a great achievement  |

its ok for 2-3 races a day or it gets boring; what it fucking annoys me, almost in every race you start last and the ravenwest dudes on first 2 places so playing on higher difficulties is a pain in the ass; also your teammates are fucking morons, winning team championships is almost impossible

I really enjoyed this game, along with the rest of the Grid series. Great sense of speed, gorgeous visuals, enough arcadey nature to appeal to my RR/GT lovin' \o/
