Well I can tell you that the fucking depriveds shield is worth less than a piece of turd on your hand. Started my third char already (I think this is the one I'll continue to use) and being agile is a really good way to play this, though the fucking crystal lizard apparently doesn't take a lot of damage from bleed (SON OF A BITCH), yet iudex was very easy to kill with my thief (which is so far a great class as enemies tend to have less poise than in the previous games. I could almost break through any attack with the simple dagger). Or go warrior with battle axe and a proper damage absorbing shield.

Put in 13 hours already and I'm planning to extend that by at least another 10 before going to sleep.
It probably helps that I didn't really expect anything too amazing after my shitty experience with Dark Souls 2 but so far it's amazing (of course it can still turn to garbage later...).

Tried the knight, but don't rally like to play as armoured can with heavy-swords, then tried the Assassin and hated the moveset of the weapon , in the end went for pyromancer and beat ludex easily

Just found out that the PS4 version is locked to 30 FPS. Pretty fucking sad.
Wasn't supposed to be the 1080p/60FPS generation?

I`m new to DS. Don`t find the key for running....I want to jump on that crypt, but i press space and only roll. CAn someone explain how to jump?

If you play with X360 gamepad, it's hold B for sprint and then press left stick to jump while sprinting.

It tells you in one of the "messages" at the beginning.
I'm using the gamepad so don't know the keyboard combo.

Not sure what is so special about this, every game pretty much runs 30fps or less on consoles unless its some arcade crap. Maybe next generation will give atleast solid 30fps.

I mean, consoles will always be behind in hardware, yet need to shine in graphics because that's what sells AAA games. I don't see how next gen hardware could solve that. It will always be barely 30fps. Minimum performance, maximum graphics.
