as title says... It started only recently... No it is not coil whine, it is coming directly from my speakers whenever the GPU is under heavy load... (gaming, furmark...).

What to do? Sad

Speakers connected to motherboard audio?

Do You have any sound card or dac to try?

Could be badly shielded on board audio picking up DC-DC converter switching, or noise from other source.

Interference from something anyway. Got a dedicated sound card to test?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_loop_(electricity)

If this is your issue:

Been there done that, one of the most irritating god damn thing you could try isolating, especially when it doesn't happen till later.

Does the buzzing seem to go up and down as your gpu puts more load under? Does it make noise when you move your mouse?

Are your speakers on their own power supply? Do they have the 3 prong plug? See if you can find a 3 prong (with the ground prong) to 2 prong (without the ground prong) adapter and put it on your speaker power cable if it has the 3 prong, or put it on your computer power supply cable.

See if that fixes your issue.

My audio was fine for months then out of no where I got that ground loop issue, replaced amps, replaced everything I Could think of.

Then this little 1.25 adapter cured it lol

If you're in Europe I have no idea what they look like but you should still have those adapters for your plugs.

could be the psu, could be your soundsystem (try fllipping the plug 180° if possibl, dunno about your type of plug, could be enough). and try testing getting power from a different cycle (i.e. use extension cable and plug it in in a different room)

Only thing where those "high quality" cables are good is when you are going over recommended cable lengths.

Ya, but even then monster is horribly overpriced, get the same quality if not better buying Media bridge cables but at like quarter of the cost. I got a 25 foot long sub cable for 10 bucks and is super high quality.

Try putting the adapter on the computer cable

Have you changed ANYTHING to your setup recently, even something small like moving your desk and using a different power socket

You could get some ferrite core wire terminators/ferrite chokes and attach to some your cables.

Snap-on ferrite beads:

Have you tried connecting the buzzing output to different speakers?

However, if something has gone bad with the on-board audio circuitry I can't help. A second hand sound card may be a choice.

Lol, welcome to the 20th century. Wink

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrite_bead

Quote:
A ferrite bead is a passive electric component that suppresses high frequency noise in electronic circuits. It is a specific type of electronic choke. Ferrite beads employ high frequency current dissipation in a ferrite ceramic to build high frequency noise suppression devices. Ferrite beads may also be called blocks, cores, rings, EMI filters, or chokes.

Ferrite beads prevent interference in two directions: from a device or to a device.

Large ferrite beads are commonly seen on external cabling. Various smaller ferrite beads are used internally in circuits—on conductors or around the pins of small circuit-board components, such as transistors, connectors and integrated circuits.

Ferrite beads are one of the simplest and least expensive types of interference filters to install on preexisting electronic cabling.

etc...

Had that once when I used headphones and the cable for the headphone output in my case ran alongside the power cables to my graphics cards, the power draw was upped when running games and caused interference.

lol I actually like that, I can have my phone on my desk and not hear anything but then out of no where I hear a buzz coming out of speakers. Grab my phone, wait, boom....text message/email just comes in a few seconds later.
