Looks interesting, will try it out later. Very Happy
It also seems very similar to the recent Forced Showdown.

This.... is this related to HANDS of Fate? It looks SO similar, especially the card-based stuff too. Either way; yay!! I'll snag this, ta!

Nope. Different dev. This kind of hybrid card/action/rpg games are getting very popular lately.

One of those games that looks more fun to play than it actually is. The artificial limitation on skill usage per encounter means your way more busy keeping track of how many times you're allowed to click, rather than killing the actual enemies and avoiding their damage.

Also, the game only takes up about 30% of my screen at 1920x1080. Not sure what kind of artsy idiot decided that would be a good idea.

When you're in combat (actually fighting enemies) the game fills your entire screen? For me it only fills the center. Wonder what the fuck is going on. Question

Here's what I see -

 Spoiler:

Look at all that wasted fucking space on the sides. What the fuck is THAT about?!

I must say, the game has grown on me though. Once you figure out the cadence to the combat it's not too shabby. Still think I'm enjoying Forced Showdown a bit more, which is a shame, since the setting this has would have been much cooler.

It's a "design decision", to have pillar-boxed image on the screen, apparently.

It's actually done rather well, well enough so that when you're getting into the game you don't really notice. I also can't fault the developer reasoning behind the decision either.. and with a guilty confession of my own to make; my brother and I always force 4:3 AR whenever we're playing fighting games \o/

I've had to abandon my play-though due to bugs three times now - oddly enough all were with the final unlocked character.

The first two times happened when I got to chapter 5 and an enemy was stuck between a dead and alive animation and refused to die.

Just now I went into a sacrifice card, bought a random glyph and didn't like it, so I switched back. Then, when I teleported out it wouldn't let me travel to any of the cards, so effectively I was stuck.

I did finally manage to beat the game on Normal, but I'm ONE mission short of having the final character upgrade to the guy I beat him with, and HARD refuses to unlock until I get it apparently. Sad
