"Experience the freedom to traverse and explore a planet-dense but seamless open-world galaxy, rich with discovery. Play as the leader of a squad of military-trained experts in an intense third-person shooter, with deep progression and customisation systems."
What does that even mean? No more splitting things by system? No mass relays as loading screens I assume, so how do you magically traverse the 10s of thousands of lightyears between destinations? Probably more, given that Andromeda is (in reality) supposed to be about twice the size of the Milky Way.
I loved the original formula for linear rpg like kotor and mass effects... Open world games are usually shit.

Just because you don't like open world games, doesn't mean they are shit.
You're right. But there are some aspects of Open World games that will always (or almost always) be weak due to the very nature of the genre.
Story is one of these aspects. Pacing and progression is another. In a game where you can basically go do what you want whenever you want you cannot have a solid narrative-driven progression.
Personally, I liked even the 3rd ME much more than DA:I. Yeah, the latter is a "proper RPG" mechanically, but its open-world nature makes it feel as tedious and mundane as a generic MMO. The DA:I world is much bigger than the ME one, but the sense of impact and scale of the events that take place in it are nowhere near what ME2/3 achieve, even being the generic simplified FPSes that they are
The only open world game capable of strong narrative threads was TW3. Everything else failed. Miserably.
But all BioWere games have been weaker and weaker as they go. RPG mechanics are practically non-existent at this point. So we'll have a 3rd person cover shooter, with multiplayer obviously.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Presumably that's from a technical artist that left Bioware and sent his showreel out to a prospective employer. Labelling it as "gameplay" is a bit of a stretch.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be the first of its kind to be a multiplayer game. Although a lot of game aficionados question this new move, Chris Wynn, senior development director of "Mass Effect: Andromeda," announced on Twitter that he will take the responsibility to build the said game mode.

Great. Something nobody asked for.
I know we love to hate on Bioware, but the poorly written article screams "sketchy unpopular website trying to get clicks by conjuring news out of thin air". There is literally no new information there, the guy they are "quoting" left Bioware back in December, and the only tweet of his that I was able to find that references multiplayer just says that a co-op mode of some kind is present. I don't think that's particularly surprising, considering ME3's co-op multiplayer was fairly well received.
Also, it's never a good sign when random websites like Christian Today and Movie News Guide are listed as sources, because that usually leads into a rabbit hole of even less trustworthy sources, until you finally reach some 1-visitor-a-month shithole no one's ever heard of.
Great info, thanks Sauronich! Friggin' games "journalism" is a joke these days
Don't worry. They post rumors without any backing in our days on daily bases, so i've stopped checking them. Most of them have no idea of the gaming history and would just quote the publisher press release. They would also use reddit as a source, without even try to verify the statements.
Short story: take anything with a grain of salt. Or just ignore anything that is not given by the publisher/developer until the game is released.
