^ cunt. I got mine on Thursday evening only for me to find out it was the core unit (I want the premium) so I sold it to my mothers friend from work for £300, so I got £100 profit but no console. I asked my friend to reserve me a premium unit for the next shipment but he said its not likely for 2 weeks :s

I finally get a HDD. I set up a Live account and I get a free Gold membership for some time. Nobody told me this, thats really cool. I thought that only came with the premium deal. Plus no credit card required! Does this mean I can keep making new accounts and getting a free Gold xbox Live trial?

After playing the Xbox 360 since Friday, I cannot bring myself to plug in my old Xbox despite having so many games I still havent played on it!

Halo 3 Explored check this out...they say there might be keyboard and mouse support. If this happens it might be a bad thing as poeple who like to use the controller might get owned biggtime....I think its a bad idea acually.

Sony are depending on that Bluray becomes the next DVD-standard in order to gain complete success with Ps3.
How big are the chances for that?

That is true, but do you really think Bluray will be the next videodisc standard? DVD isnt that old is it.

it could also be a big flop just like Sony with its Betamax scenario where the betamax was better quality overall but VHS won the war as it was cheaper, sound familar?, lol

Pure speculation. As for upgrading the harddrive, why? It's not as if you put the whole game on the harddrive just the saves etc.

The biggest reason is that the xbox360 is an american console, while both the ps3 and the revolution are japanese consoles, and japanese people are fanboys when it comes to this.
There is just no way that an american made console can compete with japans own sony and nintendo in their home country, it's just not possible.
The lines outside the stores when the revolution and the ps3 launches will be insane, even if there are not rpg's or specific japanese games at launch date, and all because of the above.

Yeah, I don't see why they released it in Japan before europe anyway, microsoft should know where their sales are!
