how about reading the other threads??? rip off your cables of your IDE-CD/DVD-Drive and you are fine

try some thing with starforce nightmare. Or use a pci ide controller card.Or be a lucky one like me to use a nforce3/4 chipset.

try maybe remove from Device Mangaer all DVD/CD Drives?
