so? its still comparing apples to pears. guess what? miyazaki just picked of the kings field series and improved it -> bam souls series. and guess what? right kings field had japanese voice overs. oooooh nooooooo, dark souls must have them too then... ehm yes right.
cmon, doenst matter who the fuck the lead programmer, vice president or what the fuck ever was. bloodborne is a complete different ip and universe. its like saying mh witcher 3 had that and that yeah so that cyberpunk stuff which is developed by cdpr will have the same elements
no, anyone who played through bloodborne will tell you its as much a souls game as any other, except for the name.

pre release bloodborne had direct links to demons souls, they were removed int he final version for some reason.
same engine, same gameplay mechanics, same overall design, made by the same team. it's a souls game, it would have the souls title if they weren't in the midst of a contract war with sony & namco bandai, idiot. the japanese version started with english voice acting and subs, later they added japanese voice acting. i'm going to assume the positive reception of the japanese voice acting will lead to them adding the same in dark souls 3.
it's soulsborne, they might be seperated by publisher contracts but they are the same franchise like it or not. now it's a good thing after dark souls 3 their contract with namco bandai is finished so they can continue working with sony and making FINISHED products instead of having shit rushed out the door and ruined by cash in kings bandai. I guess that also means ps4 exclusive though
It is a souls game in a different world with a different lore but for that reason alone they would have named it different no matter the circumstances. I mean the similarities and differences between the games are pretty obvious, stop arguing semantics
no its not, complete different approach (and i have played bloodborne, actually the disc is atm inside my ps4 )
completely different approach?
its the same gameplay, just basically more focused on an shieldless agl character build.
the biggest difference in it are the randomly generated chalice dungeons with extra bosses, that provided alot of fun endgame content while being the toughest challenge of any souls game.

Well if that's the case, it's one and only game franchise that will make me buy a fucking secondhand ps4. Hopefully with rumored PS4.5 market will be flooded with them.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Getting a bit itchy to buy it now actually when I checked some videos. Had so much fun in pvp always in every game. If it was around 22 euro without risk I would buy it for sure.

More or less the same with me, won't risk blowing away 22€ for then to be locked in with the ruskies, but the 35-40€ that everyone else is asking is a bit much, even if it's the amount I've saved to pay for it.
I'll hold on until the release, hopefully a glitch/pricing error will appear until then. If not, 40€ it will be

Chalice dungeons were frikin awesome. Bloodborne's only problem was the lack of depth and variety when it came to character builds. Note to anyone who doesnt like magic in dark souls.. not having magic schools and having a choice of like.. what? 4 builds counting arcane? in bloodborne killed its replay value..
That is quite the jump in gpu from min to recommended. Maybe recommended is for 4k 60fps who knows
Why doesn't this industry have a standard for what minimum and recommended specs mean? Is it really so much to ask? Fucking muppets man.
