Just watched EP1. What an awesome start. They built up the Punisher flawlessly...
 Spoiler: | On a side note though I believe Punisher vs Daredevil part only takes half the season, then we meet the main villian and they will join forces against him/here. |

Done with 8 episodes.
| Spoiler: | I like the Punisher dude for once, but sadly he doesn't seem to have enough screen time at all. After 4 episodes, we barely see him.
Don't like Elektra and all the crap for next 4 episodes.
Episode 8 ending was a surprise.  |

Four episodes in, loving Jon Bernthal's performance. Any doubts I had have evaporated.
I love how physically tough they've made his character, he shrugs off a ridiculous amount of punishment.

They really should've focused more on the Punisher, because Bernthal was fucking awesome. The Elektra stuff was enjoyable enough at the beginning, then it devolved into | Spoiler: | endless fights with generic incompetent ninjas. Also, the "BLACCCKKKK SKYYYYYY" bullshit is getting unbearable. 2 seasons in, still no clue what that is or why we should be interested. |
A 6/10 season IMO, the Punisher is its saving grace. The | Spoiler: | Fisk |
appearance was also much appreciated.

Holy shit...the editing in the E03 staircase fight scene is sublime. I really liked those special fight scenes in the previous season where it looked as if it was all done in one take, but they really outdone themselves with this one.

Although it was quite good I think it was lazy writing.It could have been revealed more subtle and more dramatic than just talking us through what happened etc. We basically got spoon-fed.. it was a spoon full of honey but still,..

His acting is what caught me by surprise. Jon Bernthal has been a recent favorite. At first, in TWD he was pretty average, to me. While he always plays different characters with the same mannerisms, he's started growing in my eyes with The Wolf of Wall Street and Fury. He sure as hell culminated with the graveyard scene in EP 4, though, for real. Spoonful of honey or not, it solidified me rooting for this version of Frank Castle.
In any case, quality TV this show. Jessica Jones had a slow start for me but eventually rose up to this. Great side of the MCU, these shows.
