Urki must be one of the toughest characters in this series.. i took his body after he's maimed by a spear and threw it off a mountain, he's still moaning. Threw him into a lake, he's still moaning.
I did the same during the bear mission with him, he got downed near a lake of water and was doing those noises so I threw a spear right into his arse and he flipped into the water and started doing these bubbly noises instead.
Also the patch removed "-skipintro" so you have to sit through the logo videos now.
EDIT: Didn't take any screenshots of that but I did take one from a earlier adventure with him where you practice spear throwing.

(I think the game intends for you to only really throw one but I figured what the hell, throw em all. )

poor guy. and im almost sure this isnt the last mission with him
Would be fun to know what he's actually saying, subtitles show the various conversations in proper grammatical English but I heard that the actual spoken words are more flawed or how to say.
Then again just having subtitles for non-important dialogue would be nice too, can understand a few words now but I wonder what the various villagers are actually talking about let alone what enemies might be talking about though just observing them is working pretty well too.
(Depends on what they're doing though, when two neanderthal persons start going "grunt ahn, grunt, ahn!" it's not too hard to understand what's going on but when they're sitting around a fireplace or similar and actually talking it would be fun to know what's actually being said.)
As for Urki I feel like the developers could have done a bit more with his story ark but I guess he is more of a comic relief type character, "Hurki" basically aka Hurk from Far Cry 3 and 4 for those who don't know about that guy.
Don't want to avoid spoiling anything though but...
Spoiler:
You don't even get to build him a hut, he just sits there up the water stream near the shamans place randomly spouting some random comment when you try to interact with him.
(I guess he's not really fit as a "trainer" type character though but at least give him a hut or something.)
He's a parody of The Sims i believe, at least he sounds exactly like one and very different from the rest of the characters.
I think they've went a bit too far with the comic relief, i would have loved to have a really dark and grim game in a stone age setting. Though i didn't exactly expect it and i do kind of enjoy the humor, lame as it may be
How is this game? I tried FC4, but i was just still too burned out from the third game. Does this provide enough fresh material to feel truly different?

OMG i would love to see a video of this LMAO!!!

Started playing this now, and it's not too bad so far.
Playing on expert with most HUD elements hidden.
But what the hell is with the NPCs (de)spawning out of nowhere?!
- Just got the owl and was scouting an area just in front of me. Marked three enemies. When i left the owl vision those enemies suddenly disappeared.
- Or deers just spawning behind me, if i look away from their spawn, wtf.
// Also can you adjust the mouse settings further? It's very hard to make minimal adjustments to aim in this game. Seems like the "deadzone" for the movement is set too high.
The Stone Age is about to get even more brutal. Far Cry Primal will receive a FREE “Survivor Mode” update on April 12 for consoles and PC, which will make Oros and its inhabitants harsher and more dangerous than ever. You’ll also have the option of enabling permadeath, if you’re willing to risk extinction.
Survival style difficulty is the new in-thing now huh, well it doesn't have to be bad and more choice isn't a bad thing plus it's a free update though a lot of the current player base might have finished the majority of the game by now.
Let's see if they actually add more features instead of just increasing enemies damage further. Currently playing on Expert (highest difficulty) and if you are not careful, bigger animals will shred you to pieces or enemies with ranged weapons will kill you very fast.
Already died several times. Now with permadeth?
No thanks.
And a bump for my question

You should be able to use whatever value you want for mouse sensitivity in the .xml file.
Should be one of these two.
Sensitivity="1" (This one should be for gamepad.)
MouseLookSensitivity="1" (And for mouse.)
Inputting a value higher than officially supported usually means that if you change the in-game settings and it refreshes the config file they'll be reset again but you could write protected the file though in Far Cry 3 that caused the game to crash if you tried to alter the settings.
I also disabled all the smoothing and acceleration settings in it. Also tried some fix with changing the Prerendered Images in Nvidia settings to 1.
But that deadzone still remains.

I'm going to go ahead and say that it's fake, I think if the latest strain of Denuvo had been cracked it would have appeared everywhere else a lot faster than here As it is, nobody is talking about it - most likely some funny fucker pulling the trigger early on an April Fools prank.
The biggest such option is the addition of permadeath. If you felt the stakes weren’t high enough before, you can now turn on full permadeath, which means your game is over the first time you die (except in vision missions, which aren’t “real”). If that seems too abrupt, there’s also a second-chance option that gives you one backup life, which is then replenished at certain completion points.
...
Permadeath is only the beginning. Survivor mode adds a stamina gauge, making protagonist Takkar slower and weaker when it runs out, and forcing him to sleep in order to replenish it. The minimap is now turned off by default, pushing you to pay more attention to your surroundings, and the fog of war has been strengthened, lessening the amount of the map you reveal as you explore. You’ll encounter humans and animals less often as you explore, which means hunting takes a little more patience. Even fast travel is a little tougher, as it now consumes stamina and food.
Takkar himself has also been weakened in a few key ways. He can no longer rain remote-control death on foes using his owl, for example, and crafting ammo now takes a few seconds, instead of being instantaneous. He’s also now a lot more susceptible to cold, which increases his dependency on fire, and makes crafting cold-weather gear a top priority if you’re planning to venture into the chillier parts of Oros. On the upside, the duration of Takkar’s Hunter Vision has been increased – which should come in handy for surviving the longer, darker, deadlier nights that now befall the land of Oros.
The most striking and immediate change to beast mastery, however, is that animals who die are gone for good. You’ll still have a chance to save them before they die, but if your previous strategy for, say, taking down a fort was to hide while your all-but-disposable animal friends winnowed down the enemy’s numbers, you may want to come up with a new plan. That’s especially true if you’re able to bring Far Cry Primal’s legendary beasts under your control; while you can always tame another leopard or wolf, creatures like the Bloodfang Sabretooth can’t ever be brought back once lost.

Of Course i smell early April fools posts like this are bound to happen.
Haha yeah, my D-radars ain't bleeping
dat Costa though!
Usually that would be a bannable offense, but today
-------------
All jokes aside, the survival mode seems interesting. I'll be using that one for sure - without permadeath- once the game will be available in yarr form, it won't fix the hurpa Ubiquities, but *it's something*
And finished with ~50% completed. Ingame it says it took me ~20h, but i think i played for at least 30h.
Besides the graphics it didn't really fell like 10.000 BC. Most characters had too many emotions going on. I would expect that those cavemen would rape and fight more brutal.
Game was still okay though. Would give it a 7/10. (0.5 bonus points, because spear throw kills felt awesome )
