I honestly don't understand why anyone would play DS games online (except for pvp obviously).

It totally ruins the experience for me. Dark souls is all about the immersion and the fear of the unknown. What lurks around that seemingly innocuous corridor? What will happen if I try to cross that bridge?
Seeing ghosts of other people dieing and tons of markers on the ground around places of interest completely ruins that for me.
And it also ruins immersion. As soon as I read the messages left by other players I'm reminded of the fact that I'm not a lone traveler roaming a decaying world, I'm just another twat sharing this world with a bunch of even bigger twats spamming "le praise the sun memes" all over the game. Would honestly be a nightmare if the game actually required you to be online. Fortunately it doesn't.

WTF?
Playing online is exactly which adds to the fear of the unknown. As you could get invaded any moment.

Fine with me...DS1 was smaller but I thought the world was much better.

DS3 is similar to DeS. There is a hub and you teleport to different worlds.

ds2 had the hub in form of the village Wink but it seems ds3 will be much more similar to ds1 than to 2 and thats a good thing Smile

28€? Surprised Shows $60 here. Sad

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

There's still no decapitation in this series? I think it's really disappointing that we arent getting any updates to gore in games, this would be a perfect game for that sort of thing. With the weapons they use it's absolutely ridiculous that the damage is completely unnoticeable except for a bit of blood spatter..

Cheapest I could find so far (and it's reliable). I'm seriously tempted about pre-hurrdurring this one since I really want to play at at launch, and I'm even more tempted to get it because the price has been going steadily up and will probably continue until release.

Has anyone found it cheaper than that?

Miyazaki clearly stated that he doesn't want gore and always kept his horror vision tasteful. He denied several artists designs that were relying too much on gore.

He even repeated those statements for Bloodborne: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/bloodborne-s-violence-not-gratuitous-director-says/1100-6425967/

Ohhhh the tasteful japanese, now that's a mindfuck if there ever was one. The series has numerous things that in the art world would absolutely never be considered tasteful in any sense. This is just laziness or he's just taking himself way too seriously.
