I dont meen that "Best game ever" crap either. Name some games that you truly ENJOYED playing, and didnt want to end. Heres mine...
Final fantasy series - Absolutely amazing, every second of every installment is a true joy to play  when you play a final fantasy it truly feels like you are a part of the story and you get totally sucked in, any true fan of the series will agree on the countless hours missed from the world but not regretted "wasting" on this awesome series.
GTA3 - When this game came out, i played it for about 2 solid months before it got boring, i truly enjoyed this one
Still life - Great horror point and click, freaking great storyline and graphics in this one, a joy to play but too short 
Tomb raider series - Excelent, i remember countless weekends id spend with my dad playing this game, each time a sequal came out id scrape money and way i could to buy it on release day
Resident evil series - Excelently fun, really scary in parts. Need i say more?

Damn my list will be long here they are :
Space Quest that game I really really liked
Wing Commander I wish the serie goes on
Freelancer now thats a game that basicly doesnt end hehe and I still love it
World of Warcraft after 1 year of playing i`m still there every single day
C&C the serie isnt done yet so they must go on really enjoyed it
Prince of Persia yes that game may got for some time

I have to say my most favourite game is JAGGED ALLIANCE 2, and it's mod, URBAN CHAOS(who is better in every way than it's official sequels, plus it's free). I have JA2 on my comp for over 3 years, and i don't plan on deleting it too soon, with all the mods for this game comming out.
Then SPACE RANGERS 2(the most underrated game i ever played, and the most fun).
After that, Rome Total War, Ufo Enemy Unknown, FEAR, GTA SA, Final Fantasy VIII(almost finished it in 3 days, playing like 10h/day), KOTOR 1 and 2, Planescape Torment, and the list goes on with scores of rpg's...

1. Half-Life 2 - Reason? Great innovative gameplay and beautiful enviroments blended with smooth shades. The 4 years of waiting was worth it! (except it was a little too small to finish)
2. Unreal Tournament - Reason? HEADSHOT! Need i say more? After i played the first demo of this game i was hooked! I had to have it! When i got it i freakin' pwned! Facing Worlds with sniper *joygasm*!.
3. Grand Theft Auto 3 - Reason? Great graphics (at the time) with great controlling and lots of killing and driving. Best 3rd person!
4. Grand Theft Auto Vice City - Reason? Just like GTA 3 but with nicer weather (puts a person in a good mood) and nicer cars + incredibly good 80's music!.
5.Splinter Cell 1,2 and 3 - Reason? Stealth killing at it's best!

The Nomad Soul (great atmosphere, free roaming in ths city, great sotry)
Tomb Raider 2 (was a bit easier than TR1 with a whole lot more of action, and the boobs, how can i forget the boobs  /perv mode off)
GTA Vice City and San Adres (the bikes did it for me )
Half Life (didn't like it at first but then i totally got into it thanks to overall creepy feeling)
Half Life 2 (who the hell is this G-Man, and what hapened to freeman?)
Max Payne 2 (great film noir story, with bullet time:p)
GTA Liberty City Stories (great way to rediscover liberty city  )
XIII (love the comics,the game was very fun to play and i liked the cell shaded gfx, very "cartoonish")
QuackShot and all the Sonic games (ah good old mega drive games, i never got tired of quackshot, still play it on my psp fro time to time, awesome music )
Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, great story, is like watching a mvie, you play 10min and you get 20min of ingame movie ), Snake Eater was not as good, didn't really like that jungle setting.
