Can mods please post somewhere when someone is getting banned the reason and duration?
It is a little weird to surf the hump and then see a "Banned" next to someone's name, for example Freakness here:

If you are worried about arguments, then have a locked thread for it? What do you think?

Well, it's really none of their business though. They could always ask the user in private if they're really interested and as far as I know nobody is stopping them (unless they're perma-banned).

Nobody cares if and why Freakness was banned.
You have to provide a better example or else people wont understand what you're trying to achieve here...
Was I banned recently? I don't remember I was banned recently...
