Someone in the comments section said they indeed tipped off the very hidden ones to Streamers/Youtubers which then went all over the place via video in the community.
what about aimbot cheaters, have dice fixed anything about that?
No, all they do is ban waves because lets face it these days it is all they can do to stop the creaters of such cheats. People with unlimited resources seem to just rebuy rebuy and rebuy when caught. Beyond a joke It also probably makes them money in some sick way.
Reinstalled this after two years? I guess? I like what they did with it. It's finally playable for me. No more rubberbanding, no more dying over corners, etc.

Premium+base is currently at 19.99€, Base game is 9.99€ . Is premium worth it or should I just get base? I've played all BFs (and like them) and am currently looking for a nice shooter just to hop in hop off and just have some fun.

You can play for something like 100 hours for free on a fresh origin account with gametime. Hackers obviously abuse it. It's really fucking dumb.
I'm grateful for those 7 days of free time. I installed last night and oh boy...battlelog doesnt want to work with firefox 64bit, then starts acting up on Edge. Took me a bit to finally launch a game. Then performance was not on it's best days (apparently fps took a bit of a hit on last patch).
But anyway, the game seemed a bit ..washed off to me. The gameplay is definitely there but I was so annoyed to meet Battlelog again and everything it means that I just said screw it and saved my money.

just use edge to launch it if u use ff64 or dev versions till they update the plugin.
Go to settings in browser launcher and turn on the option for no need to use plugin to launch game. done. Also turn off that rain/weather effect in browser shit it really hampers cpu usage or did at one time.
After several months I ended up reinstalling it too (took me an eternity!), and played some good ol' rounds of conquest today avoiding the damned Locker and Metro.
I must confess that apart from me having lost all the reflexes, the game really feels much much better. It's always nice to see early access games being eventually completed
Like Claude mentioned, I didn't notice any weird deaths (they were all mostly my fault, for being a reckless Rambo pear), and even if my ping often ain't the most amazing one, the situation overall seems stable. The DLC maps seem pretty decent too, although as per usual 64 players are typically way too many for some of the 'limited' layouts.
Yeh, good to hear. Except all my enthusiasm for this game faded a long time ago I need another Bad Company game
Haha, it will wear off pretty quickly for me too I reckon xD. But you're not alone on that one, I just miss the physicality of BC2 and its meaty destruction so much (it really feels almost meaningless/scripted now). Blowing up silly campers through walls with them those glorious 40mm grenades, priceless.
$35 mexico origin seems best price for premium so far. Think I'll go that route
Last Battlefield game I played was bad company 2 hehe
still so high? if you can wait then wait for a sale. paid not more then 20 euros for the game with premium and all on mexican origin and this was over a year ago. there must be something cheaper then 35
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
The new Battlefield user interface is designed to improve the experience of playing with friends and to bring relevant content to your attention.
Now, you’re able to create a Squad before you actually enter into a game. Being able to join up with your friends and join into a game together makes it a much smoother experience, and helps make sure you’re able to spawn on your buddies as soon as you’re in the game.
There are other changes as well that you’ll want to see for yourself, like a recommendation engine to suggest maps, modes, and more, giving you a more relevant and fine-tuned experience that quickly gets you to the things you want to do.
This new UI is currently rolling out in beta form in Battlefield 4 for a small audience, and we’ll have more information on additional testing opportunities in the coming months. This will also be released with Battlefield 1 (and Battlefield Hardline soon after that). Once it’s rolled out for all three games, you’ll be able to easily swap between the games as long as you own them. Want to jump from St. Quentin Scar in Battlefield 1 to the skyscrapers of Shanghai in Battlefield 4? It’ll be easier than ever.
They had to got rid of Battlelog because browsers' security is tightning all the time especially with additional plugins and such. Battlelog was ok but I would trade it any time for pluginless web and internal server browsers.

It's not like they can't just import a chromium into their executable... nobody will notice the additional 100MB compared to the gazillion GB big base game + dlcs

Sure they can but goodluck with it's maintenance and cluster fuck it can cause when people start to exploit it.
