But Valve telling 2GD to be himself, what the hell did they think would happen.
Also 2GD fills a 2 HOUR delay with content, yet they let Thoorin and Lewis 2 bigger asshats than 2GD go to CS Majors...
Im not condoning 2GD and his behavior, but seriously Valve fucked this up.
This tourney has ben a train wreck, Valve were warned about this when the last 2 ajor events in china were absolutely awful, then they hire the same damn production team.

Theres so much more to this than what is just in that thread, Yes James is an Ass, he has always been the same, you either love him or hate him. Unfortunatly for Valve the Dota 2 scene love him on the most part. He did a lot in the early days of Dota 2 hosted events even paid some teams & players out of his own pocket to get the to events.
Valve used Jaes as the MAIN panel host in 3 Internationals, its not like they have never worked with him before on a major project/event.
Should valve have taken him for this event in China? no probably not.
Should Valve have fired him mid tourney? no probably not, warned him, advise him, mabye yes.
Should the CEO of Valve make a statement like that in reddit about dota 2 host that a lot of people like? Definitely NO. The post goes on to say that hes also fired the production crew???
His team of lawyers probably waiting for the shit storm now from the Chinese Production Crew and possible 2GD as well.. They want PROFFESIONALISM in their tourneys yet the CEO goes and does that. Yeah good one Gabe.
While i wont defend some of what James(2GD) has done, i can see also what he tried to do, in keeping the train wreck of an event sliding into deeper shit, to be fair 95% of chinese held LAN's are complete failures even the players don't want to go there, and the last big event there 10 months ago, the players have still not been paid.
If this event had been held in any other country, i honestly don't think this would of happened.
2GD = Ass - yes, but for him to get fired publicly after being told to 'Be Himself' stinks
Gabe = Bigger Ass - The CEO to then call him out publicy being an ass what sort of statement is that!?

Pretty doubtful that the removed titles will reduce the price to the point that customers wouldn't rather have the gifts for friends. Hopefully wrong on that...
