If you are referring to SP, yeah, there's still potential for a fun ride up to max levels. UNLESS(!) gameplay mechanics don't become tiresome and boring.

Sounds like waiting for a deal and some more DLC is the smart way to go.
I think I could enjoy it as a cooperative experience. I'll just have to accept that the fun will end sooner than I'd like.
I bought my PS4 for Destiny, basically, and that was among the biggest disappointments of my gaming life. So incredibly shallow and grindy.

Well, i got this game myself in a good deal. So i will definately playing this at release.
I really enjoyed the two beta events in regards of gameplay and graphics. So i expect the game to give me even more enjoyment at full release. If some other humpers will get the game too, it will be even better.

I'll get it eventually.
I just wish the core gunplay felt better.
That's the one thing Destiny nailed.

Nah, far from it.
My goal is to have fun. Be it in SP or - if possible - in some PvP context. The definition of fun here includes fluid and responsive (combat) mechanics (1), dynamic gameplay elements that refresh the experience (2) and a solid performance (3).
So let's say with indulgence that (1) is there. But (2) is unknown/uncertain and (3) is absent. So far, eh.

How the hell do you (effectively!) use a DMR in this game anyway?
During my (limited) runs in both betas I always found myself in short-to-medium-ish range confrontations, where popping out of cover to aim the rifle (which takes a second) usually resulted in getting shot. In the Dark Zone it meant going to critical health pretty quickly.
Do DMRs really require a tanky teammate for attracting all the aggro while you stay far behind and pick them off?

DRM works perfectly fine in PvE. I like it. In PvP - after 1 hour of playing - seems to be as difficult as in other MP fast paced games. You can't rely only on such type of weapon if you are playing uncoordinated with your team.
Sometimes you can have an opening with a headshot crit that can help. But I doubt this game will turn into a tactical fest. The level design is obviously in favor of SMGs and high RPM weapons mainly.

With DRM you mean those marksman rifles with a mag size of 5 and over 2k damage per shot yes?
I love those rifles. In PVE they are great, in PVP you can kill someone from far away with two headshots.
The scopes are useless though, as you barely can zoom in. But that's for balancing i guess. So people don't snipe you from across the end of a street for example.

@ Bob
Had a 12x scope on my weapon. It's like a double zoom and it's really useful. Could not use it properly, though, due to framerate fluctuating and game stuttering / jerkiness.

Thanks guys. I used one too and with the 12x scope, you can actually see something.

Do people realy enjoy the pvp aspect of this game?
There are hardly any npc's to kill and the pvp part just sucks, it's all about backstabing and being a dick. I felt bad killing some guys but what else are you suposed to do when they have loot and turn you're back at you, the game begs you to take advantage of it.

No. The rogue system sucks monkey dick and pretty much encourages fucktardery.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

The NPCs number was reduced for the Beta, apparently the real map will be quite populated.

My thoughts also.
We'll see how the final game will change this. But I doubt much will be different.

Another idiotic restriction for the beta.
Why would you lower the amount of NPCs you can fight against?
My only explanation is, that they might cripple ones performance for some reason.

Hi to all,
do you have any advice where to buy a cd-key for a reasonable price?
ATM I found the best deal at Funstock Digital: ~€38
P.S.: something legit that doesn't require VPN or other strange methods...

I bought a couple games a few months back on cdkeys.com and it worked fine. I got Mad Max for like $20 when it was fairly new (like a week or two old). I didn't have to use any VPN or anything. I received my key right away and worked first try on steam. I think the division is $45 on there right now. It was less than $40 the other day so prices jump around on there quite a bit.
