I'm sure a mod will be released soon so we can bring snow to regular maps. I used one recently to change the biome of my city.
I found it for $10usd over at cdkeys.com, cheapest i have seen it so far for USD

This DLC is quite disappointing. Trams being the only impactful addition IMO. After Dark just had more meaningful new features. I really hope the next DLC will be better.

A lot of people felt the same about AD. The devs got a pile of money and are really starting to let people down.
They could be doing so much for this game at this point.

I guess the game would've received better ratings if they had called it SimTinyVillage

AD was alright. The 2 new district specialization I think adds some variety to a city, having night time is nice to look at. New roads for cycles and buses is nice.
I'm still not sure what Snowfall offers since snow isn't dynamic. Rain is cool though, it looks nice. Tram is great.

But you don't need AD for night time. I only have the base game and the day night cycle is still there. I just miss the new districts and buildings.

The Snowfall DLC really seems rather bad, looking at Steam reviews/forums/user reports.
The best thing seems to be mainly the introduction of trams.
Well, got it for free, so i won't complain. (Was thinking of buying it)

Honestly, if there is no fluent transition between different weather, this doesn't make any sense at all :/

Aye, reason why I stopped playing the game completely... if they can't even integrate their DLC's properly into the game. pff, then I won't bother. Shame because it had a lot of potential.

I had to use a VPN to activate both of them though, but I wont complain.

The biggest complain that i have with this game is that everything in it (besides transit) is cosmetic.
It doesn't matter if you have only farms, oil, wood or big turism areas. You will make money the same way. There are no events (like flood, fire, diseases).
They really made this game based on the roads/highway, not on the city aspect of it and these dlc just proves it

It's better than 2013, but it's nowhere near as good as it should be. It's like saying explosive diarrhea is better than ebola, sure but I still don't want explosive diarrhea.

This mod sounds nice it adds rush hour traffic (finally), this is one thing I missed from Simcity.
Car parks are also of a use with it.
So traffic jams seems to be more "logical", it even changes industrial & commercial building needs depending on the time of the day.

I've been using the mod for some time, and it really does make it feel more real with the rush hours. But it is recommended to use some mod to slow down time to 1/4 (or slower) for more realistic effect, or else the afternoon rush will start before morning rush is done..
I hate you.

The newest version of the mod no longer needs the "time warp" slowdown mod as it already has its own version built into rush hour.

This new patch is nice.
I like that I can finally edit the landscape without mods.
Still, I hate that water level drops globally over the map with increased pumping capacities.
