Since you cant rent servers, it's expected. Any game which relies only on default matchmaking is going to suffer from that. I really can't think of a single game which has good official servers. Had that error too, I just canceled the matchmaking and started again. Took me 2-3 times but after that I could instantly get in games

And also models are bugging so that higher FOV is exposing you more than lower FOV.
