I waited too long to play the first expansion, and now the patch broke the yrden scaling fix mod, and the author said he doesn't have time to make a new version. Looks like I'll have to pirate a game I own, just to play it with mods I want. Never getting a moddable RPG on steam again until they make patch downloading an optional setting.

i would have gone with triss if she looked like in witcher 1. just don't like her in 2 and 3. the face in partocular, but the whole body is very peasent like. she could be one of the npc villagers and I wouldn't even notice it's her Laughing

also finished iso version of the game couple of days ago and after the ending the world felt so empty without the main characters around that i almost can't play anymore the expansion hos.... the overall game was good but i don't know what was missing in it that didn't click to me. i don't wanna say that the game was overrated cause opinions differ but i really didn't see something extremely phenomenal about the game.

Heh, well "real" Triss according to info from the books as I remember is some 100+ year old hag and possibly hunchback, unsure if they're using magic to actually reduce aging and faults or just illusions to cover them up. Very Happy

(Something about a scar as well but the developers changed a couple of things for the game characters such as eye and hair color for some of them.)

Don't you mistake Yennfer and Triss' stories? I've read the books a long time ago, so I might have things mixed up, but from what I can recall most sorceress were born ugly and with deformities /Yen was a hunchback/. Triss was sort of an exception of the rule as she was born beautiful and without disfigurements, except a scar on her chest she gets during a battle much later and which is absent from teh game. She is quite young for a sorceress too /in her 30s/.
