I see some people do a "^" to answer a previous post.
My mistake then, didn't know that.
So it means I'm not Morpheus' victim after all anymore ?
What the hell is happening ? Things do change in this very forum ?

damn, must be a tough gaming life with such standards. what are some actual games you don't regret buying and didn't refund? |
From the top of my head: Alien Isolation, GTA5, BioShock Infinite, Ori and the Blind Forest, Cities Skylines, Rayman Legends & Origins |
all decent games. should give witcher 3 a try, even if yarr. there is stuff in there worth experiencing despite the less than stellar combat and some slower parts of the story. the detailed world itself will have you in awe many times.

I think that the W3 story is too slower paced for an open world game.
I loved how GTA 5 was really fast paced for an open world game, and to me, one of the best if not the best marrying open world and fast pacing...
I actually think that even ROTTR "hubs" are making it slower paced than GTA 5 is... And ROTTR isn't even a true open world...
But yeah, you can't beat Rockstar at this though...

I'm amazed ! |
Because you liked some popular games that I did as well, we have THE SAME TESTES!!!!! Oh, you didn't like these some that I did, and loved a bunch of others that I hated - that is of no matter, we both happen to like a few games, so WE HAVE THE SAME TASTES!!!111

The gameplay in W3 is terrible. Awe from a beautiful world will get you that much, but the rest is not there.

In hindsight, it is slightly less dull than W3, but dull indeed. I liked that one a little more because I enjoyed exploring. Less so with 3. W1 I liked, and it's a shame they shied away from that style of gameplay to appease console peasants.

You have to know the exact folder name, otherwise it won't recognize the files.

Well, those big .TIGER files have been patched. Probably that's why it is not working for you? Try manually updating your game, and then place everything in \Steam\steamapps\common\Rise of the Tomb Raider
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

@Breezer_
No async compute for sure . Huang has been paying too much money to postpone any dx12 features that would give AMD a boost
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Yeah you could get some extra outfits or maybe unlock some alternate weapon but there's no real need to do so unless you're after 100% completion.
Some of the separate tombs can be a bit fun but they're still pretty short and most are also quite easy though it's still improved from how it was in the previous game where it was usually just a single small room.
One last story DLC is also planned for release sometime this year though besides the description of it there's no info on length or other details.
(Just that you get one new outfit and weapon and that it's a soviet research facility.)

if you did all the optional tombs, you aren't missing any content, just OCD collectibles.

Yeah I did some of the optional tombs not all though but I think it's not too important to finish after I've finished the game. But the game was pretty good, though the last chapter was a bit dull. I wish there were more stories not just one main artifact that she's after, like more locations and such.
