The new area is so far mostly flat farmland with the occasional settlement so it runs really well, there's probably more densely populated city areas and the like too later on which could be a bit more demanding.

Speaking of densely populated the zombie hordes are pretty much everywhere in this new part of the game, guess they really want you to use vehicular transport to get around although so far I haven't encountered any specials though those could pop up in higher numbers later on as in the original game. What is this idiotic shit:
Those fast running zombies are faster than my buggy and just glue themselves against it, while hitting me. If i tried to get out and heal or fight them back, i just get gangbanged. Already died two times now. Embarassed

Can you use your existing save/character in The Following ? It seems like to play the following you have to choose it from the list and start fresh ?

Maybe you need to upgrade the car before you can use it safely at night.

I don't even mean those hardcore stalkers at night. Just the regular fast zombies at day. grinhurt

Again though, hard mode is much more fun than normal mode. I actually have to be careful if i don't want to get killed and lose exp of that legendary skill tree.

Not only can you but you have to. You need to have at least completed the prologue in the main game with a character in order to play The Following.

Does anyone know wheter I can play The Following with a new character or is an upgraded character with good weapons needed?

Can anyone tell me how can I continue my 100% finished story mode to the Following DLC?

If I continue the story mode there is no way to find the Following DLC content inside the game

Can anyone help me to find the way to the Following DLC content?

How does coop actually work in this game? Is all content available in multiplayer? How are cinematics handled? Is it possible to play coop from start to finish?

Aside from a bit at the start of the game and the very end of the game everything can be played in co-op.
(I assume the DLC allows for full co-op or at least the same as the main game.)

Jupjup, cinematics scenes require all players to be present at the area before they play. (ie. people get a notice that press xxx to teleport to player blahblah)

Shiit, why did I have to delete my saves. The following recommends a character with at least survival level 12. Oh well, might as well put some hours into the main game again.

BTW the performance is better for me. In the regular game I got drops to about 45 FPS with maxed out settings on my hardware in some places while this Enhanced Editions runs at a constant 60.

Shame on me, didn't remotely think about saving the saves goddammit xD. I'll just see the glass half full, as an incentive to finally replay the whole package on hard, since the normal difficulty used to get way too soft in the second half of the game.

I take the old mod isn't working anymore then? Razz Sad That would be a shame, it still worked with the 1.62 version, but I imagine this one is a different kind of beast.
