Nope. Mines will do 4.8 no problems, had it at that for months before I got my new setup. I chose to knock it back to 4.6, as the difference was very marginal at best, and also to prolong the life a little further. I'm on water and never had a problem with clocking the 4770k, (on both my MSI and ASUS boards) despite it being a bastard chip. I got lucky with the bin I guess Smile

That is pretty neat then I guess from what I had read it seemed the 4770's were stuborn at higher clocks, another good batch no doubt Razz
